Taxi zum Büro Khalifa kostet ca. 20Euro genauso wie zu den unbedingt sehenswerten Jumeirah Lake Towers. Mit großer Familie sehr günstig

Großes Apartement am Stadtrand Dubais
Der Abidos Apartementkomplex liegt am Stadtrand nichts für jemand der Urlaub in Dubai machen will. Aber wenn man andere Ziele hat, wie das Hamdan Schwimmcenter, den Al-Qudra Radweg oder nur die Dubai Mall anschauen will und eine gute Autobahnanbindung braucht passt es. Das App. ist groß, kleiner Supermarkt befindet sich im Gebäude.

Gutes Hotel wenn man mobil ist.
Das Hotel liegt an der E66 Richtung Al Ain, kurz vor der Outlet Mall. Da wir das aber wussten und einen Mietwagen hatten war die Lage kein Problem. Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und ausreichend ausgestattet. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und haben es bereits wieder gebucht.

Genialer Urlaub mit Familie
Alles war sehr gut. Das einzige was nicht so gut war ist die Lage des Hotels dafür kein Lärm.Sehr gut ist dagegen dass das Hotel Shuttlebus eingeführt hat. Damit ist Mann in die wichtigste Einkaufszenter gebracht und abgeholt worden. Uns haben sie sogar direkt an den Strand gefahren ( Jumeirah Beach ) in die Nähe von Emirates Mall. Sehr gut ist auch das Mann im Hotel ein Einkaufsladen und eine Pizzeria hat. Also alles war sehr gut Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sehr grosses Apartment mit vier Bads, sehr sauber. Wenn es nicht stört 20-30 min zu fahren je nach dem wo Mann gehen will ist es sehr gut. Ich würde wieder das Hotel buchen.

Waren dort schon zum 3. Mal. Eher für Fortgeschrittene... Hotel ist weit außerhalb. Kaum ein Taxifahrer kennt es. Mit Mietwagen ist es aber kein Problem. Vorteil gegenüber Stadthotels sind die riesigen Zimmer. wir versorgen und komplett selber. Direkt nebenan ist ein kleiner Supermarkt und eine Apotheke sowie Italiener. Frühstück oder Abendessen hatten wir nie aber verpassen tut wahrscheinlich nichts...

Zweckmäßiges und großzügiges Apartment-Hotel
Wir hatten ein Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern (150 m²) im 10. Stock. Das Apartment war einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Es bestach besonders durch seine Geräumigkeit und durch 4 sehr gute und einzeln regelbare Klimaanlagen. Die Betten befanden sich in einem guten Zustand. Die Küche war ebenfalls zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Hier muss der große Kühl-/ Eisschrank hervorgehoben werden. Negativ sind die Haarföne in den Badezimmern zu erwähnen. Diese entsprachen nicht dem Niveau eines 3 oder 4 Sterne Hotels. Da wir mit einem Mietwagen unterwegs waren und ausreichend Zeit mitgebracht hatten, störte uns der Aufwand in die City bzw. zum Strand zu gelangen eher weniger. Im Klartext bedeutet das, dass mind. 30 Minuten für solche Fahrten einzukalkulieren sind.

insgesamt ganz o.k.
Wir waren mit unserer Tochter (13) eine Woche in Dubai. Wir haben dieses Hotel gebucht, weil es bei einem guten Preis ein großes Appartment mit guter Ausstattung versprach. Dies fanden wir auch vor. Enttäuscht waren wir bei Ankunft von der Sauberkeit. Fußboden, vertikale Möbelflächen, Sanitäranlagen und Klimaanlagen hätten eine gründliche Reinigung nötig. Manche Dinge wurden nach Hinweis erledigt, aber wir fanden es mühsam, auf alles aufmerksam machen zu müssen. Die Waschmaschine konnten wir leider nicht benutzen, da die inneren Rohrleitungen verschmutzt waren und das an der Wäsche sichtbar wurde. Die schmutzigen Fenster waren gewöhnungsbedürftig, sind aber in Dubai wegen der Wüste und Luftfeuchtigkeit "normal". Schön war (trotzdem), dass wir abends vom Bett aus den beleuchteten Burj Khalifa und das Burj al Arab in der Ferne sehen konnten. Unsere Vorstellung, jeden Morgen gemütlich in der eigenen Küche im Pyjama zu frühstücken, konnten wir verwirklichen. Der kleine Lebensmittel-Laden neben dem Hoteleingang war sehr vorteilhaft. Die Preise standen zwar nicht an den Waren und der Endbetrag des Einkaufes war jedes Mal eine Überraschung, aber es war immer sehr o.k. und meist mit den Preisen in Deutschland vergleichbar. Ebenfalls vorteilhaft war der tägliche kostenlose Shuttle-Service in die Stadt und zurück. Wenn wir mit einem Taxi zurück zum Hotel gefahren sind, half dem Fahrer oft unsere Karte vom Hotel und ein Anruf in seiner Zentrale.

Weit abgelegen im Neubaugebiet ca. halbe Std. fahrt vom Zentrum, keinerlei Beschilderung daher schwer zu finden, Taxis brauchen sehr lange um dort hinzukommen, oder kommen auch nach Vorbestellung garnicht. Frühstück ist mit ca. 10,-- EUR völlig überteuert, sollte eher 3-5 ,-- kosten, wenn überhaupt.

I booked 2 bedroom apartment and once I reached to the hotel they charged tax fees per bedroom as if they are separate single rooms. The stay was a bit uncomfortable due to the broken furniture pieces. The pool water was quite freezing which can get people easily sick no wonder why it was empty all around my stay. I really prefer the old Abidos building in Al Barsha.

The place is located in the Dubai land residential area. It is quiet and away from the busy CBD metropolitan crowds and traffic. Abidos apartment hotel provides complimentary shuttle service daily to and from the city centre and Marina area( Dubai Mall, Marina Mall, Deira city centre, Mall of Emirates). From these locations, you can pretty much access more places via their Metro and Train systems or by Uber and Taxi. They have a Grocery, Pharmacy and some eateries connected to the property. There’s some eateries nearby as well which you can access on foot. Although, there’s a few constructions going around the area, it does not affect the overall quietness of the place. Overall, Abidos offers great value and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I will recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet long term stay in Dubai.

Erreur sur le prix annoncé, j ai du paye plus a l'hôtel que ce qui était annoncé. Le plus méprisant cest d'être pris pour un idiot par Hotels.com et l'hôtel abidos qui se renvoie la faute mais au final cest le client qui paye l'erreur. Pour explications le prix annoncé tout compris inclu la taxe de tourisme. Sauf qu'ils se sont trompés jai pris un hotel appartement avec 2 chambres, et donc la taxe a payer etait pour 2 et non 1 chambre. Jai du payer la taxe supplémentaires alors que le prix affiché pendant la réservation est bien toutes taxes comprises. Cela influence mon choix d'hotel puisque il semble moins cher. Apres donné des explication, ecris au service client de Hotels.com qui me donne les explications de l'erreur sans me me rembourser le trop perçu et l'hôtel qui me renvoie vers Hotels.com , personne ne prend de responsabilités. C'est malhonnête. Tant pis pour vous, jai essayé de vous expliquer, j'ai perdu du temps a faire les captures d'écran pour prouver que un prix affiché Toutes taxes comprises, on ne peut pas demander aux clients de payer plus. Cest une tromperie.

Erreur sur le prix annoncé, j ai du paye plus a l'hôtel que ce qui était annoncé. Pour explications le prix annoncé tout compris inclu la taxe de tourisme. Sauf qu'ils se sont trompés jai pris un hotel appartement avec 2 chambres, et donc la taxe a payer etait pour 2 et non 1 chambre. Jai du payer la taxe supplémentaires alors que le prix affiché pendant la réservation est bien toutes taxes comprises. Cela influence mon choix d'hotel puisque il semble moins cher. Apres donné des explication, ecris au service client de Hotels.com qui me donne les explications de l'erreur sans me me rembourser le trop perçu et l'hôtel qui me renvoie vers Hotels.com , personne ne prend de responsabilités. C'est malhonnête. Took more than 30 mins to find the booking. Then charged local tax 2x what Expedia booking showed. At time of booking, I’m sure I selected room with breakfast included but upon check in, told none was included. Rugs in the room old & dirty, broken lampshades. This is my third time in this hotel and I had always liked it because the rooms were very clean and with all the comforts but this time many things were missing in the kitchen and the rooms have deteriorated a lot, the staff is very friendly, they have the comfort There is a supermarket downstairs from the hotel open until late, but still very good for the price

Appartments are outdated, very old furneture, used lights are bright white while hotels industry moved towards warm white color loong time ago. Holed curtains, durty rags, dark wall paint. Staff are friendly and willing to support all the time.
