„Das Hotel und der Service waren gut, Leider wurde das Restaurant gerade umgebaut. Dies wurde bei der Buchung mit keinem Wort erwähnt. Das Angebot an Mahlzeiten war somit sehr eingeschränkt. Am Independence day wurde ein Buffet angepriesen, welches jeder Beschreibung spottet. Die allgemeine Lage ist gut, Red Hook kann sogar zu Fuss erreicht werden (ca. 25 Minuten).“

„Had an excellent time! It was our first time camping and I am definitely more comfortable with showers and facilities rather than setting up a tent. The owners were excellent and the locals are so friendly! Highly recommend this place, but definitely bring industrial strength bug spray“

„Location is great!!! Pizza place and bar on the beach were really good. The room needed some serious update. Appliances, kitchen faucet rusted, patio light didn't work and a few lamp bulbs were out as well. The beach amd pool were awesome!!!!“

„The apartment inside and the area outside of the complex is very well maintained and so beautiful. Love how spacious it is with everything you need, like being in your home. The proximity to the beach is awesome . Wish there was more of a variety of restaurants on site, the food at the bar was served in brown paper bags and not very good for the cost.“

„This place was perfect for our family. Everyone had comfortable space and their own bathrooms. Great views off patio and the best rocking loungers. Beautiful ocean breezes in the evening. Location is close to Red Hook with lots of shops and restaurants. Beach was nice with great snorkeling on the left side. Pool is nice and large. Would definitely come back.“

Many options available right at this marina for excursions including: parasailing, jet skis, and sailing trips. Just a short 5 minute taxi ride to Red Hook for additional dining and shopping and ferry rides to St John. Be sure and check out Sudi’s restaurant which is just a short walk up the hill.“

„Be still my heart! Arriving at Villa Celeste was exhilarating! Our stay at the Villa Vista for 7 days (6 nights) was heavenly. "Wir waren 10 Tage zuvor in einem anderen, ähnlich bewerteten Hotel in Charlotte Amalie und erwarteten demzufolge eine ähnliche Erfahrung. Diese wurde überaus positiv übertroffen. Zimmer, Ausstattung, Anlage, Ambiente, Blick usw. können wir übereinstimmend nur sehr positiv bewerten. Einziger negativer Eindruck war das Restaurant, dessen Service und Qualität nicht mit den Preisen Schritt hielten. Vor allem, dass auf der Rechnung aus der Wahl von vier Optionen für den Tip schon die zweithöchste vorab ausgewählt war, hat gestört und war auch unangemessen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist dagegen der Besuch des Museums und des zugehörigen Shops. Das ist nicht nur von den Exponaten her wirklich interessant, auch der verantwortliche Manager für Museum und Shop ist kompetent, sehr freundlich und weiss wovon er spricht. Der Teil über das Restaurant ist hier zu lang geraten, um dem positiven Gesamteindruck zu entsprechen. Man kann schliesslich auch andernorts speisen. Die Pool-Bar dagegen ist einfach nur grossartig."
