„Tolle Lage, schönes Zimmer (Deluxe mit Meerblick), groß, schöner Balkon, sehr großes Doppelbett, Restaurant abends wirklich gut (und teuer), Frühstück ok, aber 1 Woche die gleiche Wurst (5 Sorten) und Käse (3 Sorten) sind für 5* zu wenig. Es war aber sonst alles da ! Internationales Publikum, sehr nettes Personal, hilfsbereit und freundlich.“

„Schönes Hotel in schöner Lage Beim Duschen Schwankungen der Wassertemperatur um ca 10° Heizung im Zimmer funktioniert nicht (verkühlt) Am Pool ignoriert, Selbst Liege beschafft, selbst Tücher geholt und zurückgebracht, niemals angesprochen Wenn beim Frühstück mehr Leute und Terrassenservice mangelhafter Nachschub, mal fehlen Gläser, mal Getränke Abreise Koffer selbst transportiert (kommt in 30 Minuten wieder...)“

„Palazzo Vecchio Taormina is an amazing hotel! It is a Palazzo that has been wonderfully and tastefully renovated. My room had an incredible view of the sea and the bells from an old church nearby. Waking up and looking out of the window and facing the morning light was unforgettable. „Great location, with very nice pool & breakfast service personnel. Breakfast food is great, the restaurant is nice, but the cocktails are not up to the quality standards. Unfortunately the front desk also is not up to the 5* quality. They are quite difficult to communicate with - e.g. they will tell you they will call when the taxi is there and never do (we had to pay extra because he had to wait so long). Bei den 5 Sternen muss man wohl die Landeskriterien mit berücksichtigen (Zimmer haben beispielsweise keine Sitzgelegenheiten, beim Frühstücksbuffet muss man bei der einzigen Kaffeemaschine für 100 Personen ein wenig Geduld mitbringen). Essen oder Trinken von außerhalb mitbringen ist lt. Schild am Eingang nicht erlaubt (wir haben uns nicht dran gehalten). Das Wichtigste jedoch: Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.“
