The front desk staff oils not use the credit card that I used when booking the room. They said that I had to use a different card because that one did not have a Chip! I gave them another card which they use, but then noticed a paper on the counter regarding a $50 deposit charge so I asked about it.
I was told the $50 deposit was charged when I first booked the room online. Then I was told the charge was made to the credit card they would NOT use for the room.
I was also told that they didn’t know how I would be able to get the $50 deposit back because they usually apply it to the balance on the bill for the stay but since it was not charged to the card used for the room, she had no idea what to do.
I asked for the manager and was told there was no manager on duty!
I am appalled by this mismanagement of my funds
How will Expedia help me get my $50 back?
Price of room was $129 (including tax)
Now with the deposit fiasco it will be $179! Unacceptable
