From your front door you can walk to two sandy beaches sheltered by cliffs, explore the timeless wynds and cobbled streets of this charming fishing village, visit the heritage centre, galleries, local shops and delightful tearooms. Fresh crabs and lobster are sold on the harbour from April to September and are featured in the local restaurants. Regular boat trips run from Anstruther to the May Island which has Britain’s best Puffin site or you can join the Fife Coastal Path for many miles of coastal walks. This area is also famous for golf with around 50 golf courses in the Kingdom of Fife, Crails boasts two courses; Balcomie Course which is the seventh oldest course in the world and Craighead Links. St Andrews is just a short drive with its championship courses and historic town. This is the perfect location to enjoy this picturesque area and relax in this comfortable cottage with friends and family enjoying the spectacular views.
