„I would absolutely stay here again! It was so beautiful and they have thought of every detail to ALL age groups! The weather was a little gloomy, rainy and cold while we were there but it didn’t matter because we knew we had a safe warm place to come home too! The first night we got there we enjoyed the outdoor area with our kids. We played games and had a little fire going in the fire table! „We enjoyed our time in Herbster. The cabin was stocked with all the creature comforts, and its location - nestled in the woods along the lakeshore - was outstanding. „5 sisters stayed from Nov 1-5, 2024. Place was cozy could have used a good dusting, but other than that it was wonderful. Right on superior even though it was chilly the view is awesome. Had a great time went shopping and out to eat. It is close to a lot of shops just a few miles down the road. Thank you for allowing us to stay. “

We all served together in Afghanistan with the 173rd airborne brigade 1/503rd light infantry in 2009-2010 and 2011-2012. „Island Fox was a nice home to stay on the island and had everything we needed and was conveniently located. The screened in porch was comfortable to sit and read without the bugs. We even saw a bear! The check in process ended up being very easy however I didn’t get communication on it in advance and no response when I messaged and called on our drive up. All in all a great stay. Thank you for sharing your home.“

„The real issue was that we were unprepared because the listing was misleading. There were no firepits - listing indicated there were 2. Grill was charcoal and the store on the island charged $20! There were no beach towels - only 4 big towels for showering that needed to double as beach towels. No pizza cutter but decorative seashell butter spreaders - seems odd. No extra paper towels.
