From the antique furnishings throughout to the classic, covered porches that wrap the house, this nearly century-old bungalow transports you to a charming scene of Old Florida where you're only about an hour away from the beach on either coast. Built in 1938 but newly and beautifully renovated, it's the best of all worlds - comfortable, convenient, and brimming with character.
This single-story bungalow sits among moss-draped trees near the heart of Arcadia's historic district. The corner lot is spacious and ideally located, only a few blocks' walk from coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, markets, and other services in the center of town.
The front and rear porches are a nod to a simpler time, providing you with ample space to relax and watch the neighborhood pass you by. Sip your coffee on the porch swing each morning, dine out back at golden hour in the balmy Florida air, and end each evening telling stories and stargazing by the backyard firepit.
Period furnishings fill the living room, parlor, and dining room, giving the home's interior a wonderful sense of time and place. Yet every modern comfort is available to you as well, including a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a private laundry room, and central air conditioning. There are two full bathrooms to pair with the two bedrooms, one of which is outfitted with a smart TV.

Prior to your arrival, you will receive local host contact information, who will manage your guest reservation. Your local host will provide in-stay support, secure entry, and arrange pre- and post-stay housekeeping services.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Security camera details: There are two cameras at the home. One facing the back and one facing the front. There are no cameras located inside the home or facing towards the inside of the home.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
