We checked in at 9pm. The neighboring room had two people that were talking at a normal volume and we could hear each word distinctly. Yes, we should have asked to switch rooms right then but figured they would be asleep soon enough. The TV in their room was on at 10 pm when we went to sleep. It stayed in until 4:55 am. Heard every single word from the car commercials and whatever they were watching. I could not fault the people. The television was not loud and they should be able to talk and watch TV, such as they did, without the room next store hearing it all including coughing and snoring once they finally slept (early morning). I talked to a very sympathetic team at the front desk who shared they hear this complaint “all the time”. The building was supposedly rushed in completion and corners were cut so that the owners of this franchise could start making their money. In fact, the pool isn’t even completed. The front desk could not offer me a refund because I booked through Expedia. I will take this up with them but something for all of us to be aware of. Are you listening Expedia?
