„THE COUNTRY HOUSE IS SUPERB WITH SO MUCH CHARACTER AND GORGEOUS GARDENS. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND THE ROOM GOOD. IT WAS A VERY PLEASANT STAY. ONLY NEGATIVE IS THAT WE COULD NOT SIT AT AN EMPTY TABLE LOOKING AT THE VIEW FOR BREAKFAST, BECAUSE THE STAFF HAD ALREADY LAID THE TABLE FOR LUNCH. SHOULD WAIT TILL ALL GUESTS HAVE COME AND LEFT AFTER BREAKFAST LIKE IN OTHER HOTELS.“

„Eigentlich ein tolles altes Gebäude aber der Zustand war ehr heruntergekommen. Das Bad war eine Zumutung nur mit Badewanne ohne Duschmöglichkeit. Sehr hellhörig.“

„Really good stay, staff are always really helpful, room clean and comfortable. Sometimes the wifi can drop but it's manageble with working. Rooms nearby were quiet noisy this time, I've stayed before and never heard anyone, all was quiet by midnight and a good nights sleep. Overall recommend, lovely location and great value, thank you team“

„The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham. We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills. Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus. We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.“

„The hotel was lovely. Our room was immaculate. Clean towels were supplied and replaced when needed. The bed was very comfortable. We had a sea view room. What a difference. We had breakfast on the last day. The young girl was very friendly and the choice of food on the menu was worth the cost. There was no rush to leave the restaurant either. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend. Pets also were welcomed too.“
