This downtown Beaufort, SC home was built in 1875. It has been sensitively restored so that you feel like you're stepping back in time but with modern amenities. Nestled in a park-like setting with beautiful flower gardens, it's super convenient. Located in the heart of the historic district, you can walk to award-winning restaurants, cute bars (Old Bull Tavern is two blocks away), Waterfront Park, shopping, art galleries, the gourmet grocer, and all wedding venues. Spanish Moss biking and pedestrian walking trail is less than a mile away. Start your morning with coffee and country ham biscuits on the first-floor veranda, watch the horse drawn carriages pass by, and enjoy meeting friendly locals out for a walk. In the evenings, step out on the second-floor veranda, enjoy a toddy, the sounds of birds, and glimpse the moon rising over Beaufort. Given the age of this home, it is not a suitable venue for children under the age of 13. The inside staircase is original to the house, is steep, and not suitable for people who are fall risks. Veteran owned.
