Phenomenal location and view. We would absolutely stay here again if the dates were available next year. I think the downstairs area and steps could use a more thorough cleaning (carpet on steps, under chairs and tables), but otherwise a great stay for us! Donna was very helpful for us too.

Everything was good. We were there for a golf tournament so hardly at the house. The front door knob fell off, I called owner and she sent someone within minutes to repair it. Nice repair man came in and was pleasant to deal with. I would suggest bringing lots of Bug spray. The area is Buggy this time of year.

Perfect Location!
We very much LOVED our stay at Misty Breeze! We are a first time Fripp family and this was the perfect location. The house sits on a little inlet, but you’re still close enough to the beach so you can hear the waves. But we got to see more wildlife! The house is 6 down from the main pools which is nice when you have younger kids. Donna went above and beyond for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better host! Our family ranged from 17 months to 60s plus our dog and it was perfect for all! I will definitely be staying here again.

Great Spring Trip
We enjoyed staying at the Misty Breeze! The layout was perfect for our family of 4, though it could’ve definitely accommodated a larger party. We cooked quite a bit and the kitchen had everything we needed. The views off the back porch are unmatched!

Great View
We have stayed on Fripp Island 8 times over the years, and this location had the best view by far- The view from the top porch where you can see the Atlantic and the Marsh can not be beat. Property was in very good condition and great communication with Donna. We will stay here again.

Out of all of our years visiting Fripp, staying at the Misty Breeze was one of our favorites! The house was spacious, comfortable, and had breathtaking views from both porches. Donna was excellent with communication leading up to our trip. She answered every question that we had (and that was a lot). Her house, the Misty Breeze, was absolutely beautiful and in a great location! We had a small delay with the check-in process and was not given information until after check-in time. My husband and I arrived in Beaufort around 3:00 but had to walk around and kill quite a bit of time because we didn't have information needed to get on the island or the house. This wouldn't have been such a big deal to us if it wasn't our first time and we were more familiar with Fripp. We were not able to get the golf cart that night because the shop was already closed by the time we arrived. However, accidents happen, and that small hiccup did not ruin the trip for us! We LOVED the Misty Breeze and plan to return. Thank you, Donna for sharing your home on the water!

Great property
House was in a great location away from the busiest part of the island. Our favorite activity was sitting on the screened porch watching the fish jump and the cranes hunt- we even got to see an eagle and a dolphin! Only drawback was ocean view was a bit limited by the neighbor's bushes. We would definitely stay again!

Best place I’ve stayed on Fripp
I go to Fripp just about every year and I’ve stayed in a lot of different places on the island. This one was by far the cleanest and worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults. The views were gorgeous and it’s steps from the Cabana Club. Still easy to get to the less busy part of the beach, and you even have your own private little “beach” with a water view. We had fun watching dolphins and people fishing from the porches and the house had everything we needed. We had an issue where the instruction/welcome packet was missing upon arrival and the host was very responsive quickly. Be aware that parking is limited, especially if you have more than 1 vehicle plus a golf cart. We’ll definitely be coming back here. Thanks Donna!

A Little Slice of Heaven on an Island
The Misty Breeze on Fripp Island, SC was perfect for my husband & me, along with our son & his girlfriend. The house had just about everything that we needed, was clean and tastefully decorated, with plenty of room for the four of us. Everything was in good working order. The ceiling fans were wonderful on the hottest week so fat this summer. The views were great and we enjoyed the visits by the deer. If we return to Fripp, we'd love to stay at the Misty Breeze again!

My children, age 17 and 19 and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Each morning we would drink coffee on the second floor, balcony and enjoy the views. We could catch sunsets from there as well. The location was convenient to the cabana club, and everywhere on the island.

Just What We Needed!!
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Misty Breeze! The house was nicely decorated, clean, and well appointed. Our favorite part of the house was the screened in balcony. Our favorite rental so far!!
This property is on a great area of the island for some amazing sunset views! We didn’t realize that the backyard had its own sandy “beach” area to play on for our son- not at the water but he didn’t care. We had most meals including dinner “at home” almost every day of our stay and found the kitchen to have everything we needed to do so- even a slow cooker which was great. The proximity to the activity center was great for our son, just right around the corner. The beach is truly just a short golf cart ride away. The only thing I was let down by was that the ocean view from the main level is almost completely blocked by the neighbor’s landscaping- which of course is not this property owner’s fault. We had to go to the upstairs master bedroom for the ocean views if we wanted them. The marsh views however are so breathtaking and beautiful from all levels- not disappointed!

Great Fripp Island get awsy
My husband and I and our two little dogs had a wonderful first-time visit to Fripp Island. Donna’s house was perfect-clean, roomy and gorgeous views of the channel and ocean. We spent a lot of time on the decks (upstairs and downstairs). So relaxing…loved seeing deer every day in the yard. Cant say enough good things….we will definately be back!
