The owner is a modern day encyclopedia on the Staunton area, going back to the 17th century. Remote and very quiet, with a farm over 300 acres, which at one time encompassed most of the surrounding area. “

„Huge well appointed room. Incredible breakfast. Host was very accommodating to guest needs, as many of us had to be up early for UVA graduation. She made to-go breakfasts for everyone with fresh muffins, yogurt, fresh cut fruit. Lovely overall experience. Nice not to be in the center of town near Grounds. Very easy access when you do.“

„We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet ...
