This property features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an open concept living room, great for visiting. This is the perfect stay for a couple, a small family, or a group of friends.

Enjoy the beautiful scenery from our massive dec, cozy up by a fire under the stars with our outdoor fireplace, or relax in our newly added hot tub. The backyard will capture your heart, as it has ours, because of the peace you feel being surrounded by the countryside.

The hill country views are amazing, and we are located close to whatever it is you're looking to do! The home is 5 minutes from the lake, 10 minutes from the Guadalupe River/Whitewater Amphitheater, 15 minutes from Wimberley and local breweries/wineries, 20 minutes from San Marcos and the Tanger Outlets, 20-30 minutes from Gruene, New Braunfels, and Schlitterbahn, and 30 minutes from Dripping Springs. It truly is the perfect spot for a vacation because there is so much to do close by.

If you're looking to just have a peaceful retreat and stay close to home, you'll love the massive outdoor deck, as it is surrounded by hill country, and the trees help you feel secluded from neighbors. This house offers a great space to relax and unwind from the grind of normal life.

On your drive to the house, you will be immersed in the beautiful rolling hills of Texas Hill Country and if you look closely, you'll even be able to see the lake at the peak of the hills from the neighborhood!

For those of you looking to do some work during your stay, we offer high speed internet, and our dining table has a great view for you to enjoy during the workday.

The home is furnished with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom and a queen-sized bed in the second bedroom. The optimal amount of guests is 4 people, but if you're willing to squeeze, it could fit 5-6 people - Although, someone might have to sleep on our comfy sectional to make it work for parties larger than 4!

In the kitchen, you will find that it is stocked with all the silverware, cutlery, dishes, pots, pans, spices, and cooking oil you'll need to make meals at home.

We also provide a coffee bar stocked with a Keurig, coffee pods (including decaf), a selection of teas, sugar, and creamer.

The living room is furnished with a nice flat-screen Roku TV so you can login to any streaming app during your stay.

Additional amenities you will find include: a washer and dryer, iron, blow dryer, towels, shampoo/conditioner, and more.

You'll have access to the entire home, other than the garage, as that stays locked for our cleaners.

We are happy to host furry friends, but we do want to make note that the backyard is not fenced in. For those requesting to bring along a pet, we ask that you approve that with the host first.

Please note, in an effort to maintain a secure premises, the home is equipped with a ring doorbell and three exterior cameras. One exterior camera looks out into the front entrance/driveway and the other two are located on the backside of the house. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside.

Our home is thoroughly cleaned between each stay.

Any items left behind by a guest will be either thrown out, or shipped to the guest at their expense.

Canyon Lake is the perfect Texas Hill Country getaway with things to enjoy for any type of guest. The home is 2.5 miles from the Canyon Lake Marina and a great beach spot for the family. For those of you looking for a float trip on the Guadalupe River, the house is only 6 miles from the Horseshoe Loop (a 2hr float depending on water levels) with several tubing outfitters. If you're lucky, you can even catch a concert at the White Water Amphitheater on the Horseshoe. For day trips, Wimberley is 8 miles away, Gruene is 15 miles away, New Braunfels is 17 miles away, and Dripping Springs is 19 miles away. This property made for a great getaway with the family. Close enough to roam around San Antonio while still remote enough to relax and slow down. The hot tub was great for winding down in the evenings and the kids enjoyed watching deer from the kitchen window then going out to look for their tracks later. Host was very accommodating and accessible. Great property if looking to explore the area but do not want to be in town.

Me and my mother were on a mother/daughter trip and stayed at this home for 1 night. The house was as so cute, so incredibly clean and comfortable. We stay in a lot of Vrbo/airbnbs and this was by far the cleanest.Host had everything we needed and it was such an easy in and out place. So close to Wimberley which is where we were spending our time. Super quiet. Check out was a dream. So easy. Didn’t ask us to do anything crazy. Super easy. Would recommend and stay again!!

We stayed for 11 days at the Canyon lake home and were extremely happy we picked it. It was a great location to travel in every direction and find something new to do everyday! We went to at least 6 different parks over the extended week to hike and enjoy the weather and scenery. Both Austin and San Antonio are close enough for a day trip. Best part is when you get tired of traveling and eating out you can enjoy the house and porch for a quiet home and dinner to relax and plan your next adventure!

Location, location, location
My husband, adult son and I spent 4 nights at this Canyon Lake property and it couldn't have been more ideal. There is so much to do in this area. We explored Fredericksburg, San Antonio, Austin, Gruene and Wimberly which were all within easy driving distance from the house! We finished each day with dinner at the house, so having a grocery story minutes away was handy! We enjoyed cooking on the grill and hanging out on the back patio. The house is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The first night we were unable to start the grill and Lexi responded immediately, and by the next day there was a new grill! Lexi even offered to buy us dinner, but there is enough cookware and spices that we had a great meal on the stove. We are already thinking about our next visit to this property- the next time we will bring our boat and take advantage of the beautiful lake.

Cozy Valentine Get-a-way
This was a very cozy and peaceful retreat from the big city with my spouse for a nice Valentines celebration and anniversary get-a-way. I would highly recommend and would give 5++ stars! The listing was spot on; we loved the ease (digital lock) of entering/leaving the cute cottage; our little Schnauzer felt right at home; the decor was very beautiful and bed was so soft and comfortable we snuggled right in and slept well! We loved the atmosphere and property; the back patio and fireplace were so wonderful and relaxing and we could see all the stars at night! Lexi was quick to reply and a fantastic host with all the amenities we could ask for; cute little town of Wimberly also! LOVE LOVE LOVED our stay and it went TOO fast! We want to return to this property when the weather is warmer and spend more time outdoors on the wonderful property; thank you again!!!!!

Lovelies hill country stay!
