"This was a peaceful place with a lovely hostess who gave us some eggs from her hens. There is a tiny table with two chairs outside the door and a larger space with garden furniture under a canopy further down the garden, although this would be more comfortable if it could be contrived to put it on level ground. The living space was fine for two people."

"Hébergement très calme pour pouvoir s'échapper du quotidien anxiogène parisien. Les hôtes ont été super, bienveillants et accueillants. Il y a un espace extérieur imposant où nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps (sans compter la piscine) avec mes amis, que ce soit pour manger, jouer au ballon, ou juste bronzer. "We spent a very enjoyable week celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday. The barn is spacious with plenty of area for the kids to play and adults to relax. The bedrooms are large and all beds very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed plenty of good meals at the huge dinning table. The pool is great, although the weather was unseasonably cold when we stayed and the pool had an issue and did not reach temp until the day we left. "Piece, quiet and relaxed. Immaculate house and gardens with great pool. Everything that could be needed was in the house. No noisy neighbours or busy roads. Walking distance to the river creuse and waterfalls. Marc the owner was at the end of the phone if needed and messaged a couple of time to make sure everything was fine and was there to meet us and show us the layout on arrival. Could not fault."

"The good points - lovely pool, very peaceful, friendly neighbours and cats. The not so good points - bedrooms awful, could not stand upright, and access to open the windows difficult. No latching on bedroom door, had to be wedged shut. Little clothes wardrobe space. Not suitable for young children and older adults due to the 27 steps from ground floor to the bedrooms. Unpleasant fumes from the mower in the garage almost over-powering."

"Van alle gemakken voorziene woning met gezellige veranda en grote tuin. Mooie plek om in de avond buiten te zitten en daar nog een klein vuurtje te maken op de vuurschaal. Ook de buiten barbecue is prima ! Het zwembad is super, wat een luxe om die bij je huis te hebben. In de omgeving is genoeg te zien en te doen , van pittoreske dorpjes tot wandelen en kanoën. De historische hoofdstad Limoges is ook zeer de moeite waard om een keer bezoeken! Wij hebben een hele mooie vakantie gehad !!"

"Deze gîte bestaat niet. De advertentie gaf geen huisnummer. Wij hebben aangeklopt bij het enige huis in deze straat. Dit huis leek onbewoond.(stoffig en vuil) Ik heb rondgevraagd of er een gîte in de buurt was, maar niemand wist ergens van. Van de "eigenaar" heb ik nooit een telefoonnummer gekregen, hoewel ik daar expliciet om gevraagd heb. Gelukkig hebben we na lang zoeken een chambre d'hôte gevonden 20 km verderop, maar mijn geld ben ik kwijt..."

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre location et avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Max le propriétaire. Un panier de bienvenue personnalisé. Des chambres à thèmes. Une grande cour pour manger dehors et laisser les enfants jouer. Le village est petit mais tout est présent : supérette, boulangerie, boucherie, bar tabac. Nous conseillons les activités du lac de Saint pardoux! En brefs un moment très appréciable !"

"The location of the hotel (at the end of the motorway) is perfect. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has very limited facilities eg no gym or relaxation area. Breakfast was limited for our UK palette, eg the only egg option was boiled and you had to do it yourself, so it was not worth (in my view), the £13 pp additional charge. There were also no options for evening dining on site and as our stay included a Sunday and everywhere was closed it caused us...
