„This little cabin/compound was so nice! Perfectly described and cleaned property. Hot tub was clean and modern. The cabins are well spaced and private enough with plenty of wildlife abound. Just minutes from Desoto entrance and an easy drive to either Mentone or Ft. Payne for the day. Stocked with quality items in the kitchen and plenty of towels, etc. Will Definitely book again!!!“

„The cabin was comfortable and convenient and perfect for our overnight stay. The hot tub was a bonus. The ladder to the loft was a little treacherous. My fault as I hadn't noticed it when I reviewed the pictures but it did cause a bit of a problem for us older folk! We managed fine though.“

„Overall I had a really good stay at the Roosters Rest! I booked myself a short trip for my birthday, and really enjoyed this cabin! It is so cute and cozy, and two of my favorite things was being close to the pasture and getting to see all the cows so close by and relaxing in the hot tub! My only small complaint would be that during my last night there the smoke detector went off and started beeping several times during the night, so it woke me up and I had to keep getting a broom to tap it ...

„The house was way more amazing than what the pictures show. We loved the vaulted ceilings and the amazing view in the backyard. There's no wifi and we all loved that. You have enough service to make phone calls but youre not on your phone on social media. The service was amazing as well. Its right by the falls and the café down the road is veey mom and pop like and we all loved the food and atmosphere. Will definitely be going back soon. Thank you so much!!!“

„The house was great, the bed and the furniture were very comfortable. The property has walking trails and plenty of room to feel like you're by yourself. It took me a bit of getting used to have no cellular service and no Wi-Fi at all. You have to drive about 10 minutes down a gravel road to get any kind of cell reception at all. My wife was fine with it though. Very nice place for a very quiet totally unplugged vacation.“
