Cozy Family Sized Cottage in the Country! 15 minutes to Lancaster City!!

Come & Stay at our lovely, family sized cottage in the Country!! This well cared for home is only 15 minutes west of LANCASTER CITY, near to the Susquehanna River and close to many other outdoor destinations and activities such as the Turkey Hill Trail, Enola Low Grade Biking Trail, Chestnut Grove Natural Area, Shenk's Ferry Wildflower Preserve, Safe Harbor Dam Fishing, Chickies Rock, and the Northwest River Trail. This cottage has a cozy kitchen, dining room, living room with reclining couches, 3 bedrooms, and a full bath upstairs. A sprawling, open basement with a full bath, cozy sitting nook, and an outside entrance with a wide doorway that opens onto the driveway, makes a wonderful place to stretch out and relax. A nice sized yard outside is a perfect place to play a game of Kan Jam or watch the stars in the clear night sky!!! Wake up every morning, and have breakfast with a few fresh chocolate chip cookies and healthy eggs from our pasture raised flock of chickens!!! And there is no need to hurry home when the weekend is over.......there is reliable, high speed, Wi-Fi here so that you can keep up with business and school away from home. So go ahead and enjoy an extra night or two!!! We have a three(3)night minimum stay($160/night)....or, stay for 7 nights and take advantage of our weekly rate($144/night)!!!

This property was truly like our home away from home.
We LOVED this house. It was about 20 min from everywhere we wanted to go (Strasburg, Lancaster, Lititz), the AC worked wonders during high temps (that were truly unheard of in mid-June in PA), everything was sparkling clean, and the owners met needs that we didn't even know we had. They provided not just linens and paper products, but also coffee, snacks, bottled water, toiletries, and more. There was frozen cookie dough in the freezer with instructions on baking, and let me tell you... They. Were. DELISH. We loved the home, and we'll definitely stay there again if we venture that way in the years to come. 💜

Best place ever
Our stay at Country Haven was so relaxing and cozy. Our host family was great and very accommodating. The refrigerator was stocked completely for breakfast and homemade cookies in the freezer. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of towels for showers. Thank you host family for making our stay one we will need forget. We would definitely come back to Country Haven. It was also a pleasure to meet our host family.

Absolutely Perfect!
Description is spot on and the owners are amazing! We truly enjoyed staying here and plan to be back again. The little touches made you feel special and welcome. Amazingly well stocked fridge with juice, water, eggs, bread, sausage and so much more. Even had pancake mix! We made breakfast every morning. Wonderful coffee/tea bar and snacks galore. You truly couldn’t ask for a better place. The owners were so welcoming and a pleasure to speak to. Communication was quick and answered all questions I had before booking. While there we felt like family. I would definitely recommend staying here for a nice, peaceful getaway.

Fantastic alternative to hotel
Every amenity you can think of has been thoughtfully provided by the hosts. We were looking for an alternative to a hotel that would have necessitated eating all of our meals out. For a comparable rate we had an entire house, private bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a fully stocked fridge (loaded with healthy selections) and a quick stop at the grocery store allowed us to maintain separate dietary concerns and save money. The washer and dryer were convenient to use, and while we were prepared with our own supplies, the hosts had already provided everything you would need. The large tub of ready to bake cookie dough was a refreshing respite for us each evening after a full days toil. The entire house was immaculate and conveniently laid out. It is clear that the owners take pride in maintaining the property and have thoughtfully (and successfully) anticipated any wants/needs you may have. Thank you for being so attentive to your guests.

AMAZING!!! AMAZING!!! AMAZING!!!
I can't even begin to describe all of the amazing surprises at this property! The description doesn't do it justice! The cabinets and refrigerator were stocked with all the food we needed. No grocery store trip necessary! The bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed as well. The house was spotless and decorated so cute!!! If 25 stars were an option, that's how I would rate this property!! Thank you from my family for providing such a wonderful place for us to stay <3

The Best Ever
This was a very clean and wonderful house. The owner had it stocked with everything, i mean it had everything you need to get your vacation started. She had milk, bread, eggs, chocolates, coffee, tea, pastries, etc. It was like going to Grandmas house and so inviting. We were in town for a wedding and we are already talking about returning. Book now, you will be quite surprised, it was fantastic.
