Welcome to Vintage Beach House on Whidbey Island! This charming beachfront cottage, nestled in the historic Admiral's Cove Beach community, offers a slice of paradise. Enjoy incredible views of Admiralty Bay while watching over 250 resident and migrant bird species, walking on the beach, or splashing around in the community pool.

This vintage home boasts modern updates while staying faithful to her mid-century roots. In the fully-equipped kitchen, find stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, and an outdoor BBQ to complete your chef's suite. There is ample outdoor seating to enjoy sunsets, watch whales, or hang out around the firepit.

This home comfortably accommodates three couples with three queen bedrooms and two stylish bathrooms. It's the perfect group getaway!

Vintage Beach House is centrally located, just minutes from downtown Coupeville, Freeland, and 20 minutes from Langley to the south or Oak Harbor on the island's north end. Easy to get to, you're just a 2-minute drive from the Port Townsend ferry terminal.

- Due to our septic system, infants are included in max. Occupancy.
- Per the Navy's scheduling, there can be flyovers around this home which can be very loud! The schedules are posted 1 week in advance online.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.

We had a lot planned for our trip to Whidbey Island but after checking in, unwinding and taking in the sunset on the beach deck we changed our plans because we knew we did not want to leave this beach house. Family getaway
This was the first time my adult kids and I have had a family vacation in a decade and we could not have asked for a more wonderful house! Right on the beach, we were treated to eagle, otter and harbor porpoise sightings. My granddaughter loved playing on the beach. We enjoyed kayaking, biking, cooking in the well- equipped kitchen, and bonfires in the evening. The house was very clean and well- equipped and the vintage vibe was perfect for us. It was a magical weekend and we are already planning our return next summer! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us!

Perfect location for a staycation
Our family LOVED staying at this cute and very clean house! The kids loved being able to skip rocks in the water, and I loved that I could see them while reading on the porch. We got to stargaze from the back, and even took a long walk along the rocky beach. I'm almost positive I saw a seal or something swim by one morning, and we saw an otter climb up on a tree stump along the water. It's a great location, close enough to drive to Deception Pass, and super close to Fort Casey. We took the Mukilteo ferry on the way in, but took the Coupeville ferry out to Port Townsend, which was literally just down the road. As a family with multiple pet allergies, we GREATLY appreciated being at a house that was pet and smoke free! Older homes always trigger my allergies, but I had no issues at all! The kitchen is small, but very well stocked. We were in contact with the owner regarding an issue with the dishwasher, and appreciated that they were quick to respond. They even checked on us during an area-wide power outage. It was definitely cold and damp in February (I brought the patio cushions inside overnight and they were dry enough to relax on by morning), but we're looking forward to going back in the summertime!

Dreamy stay!
This property is magical from the moment you arrive. From the warm scents of this vintage home to THAT view it captures your heart immediately when you walk in. This home is one of a kind! Our sons (ages 3 and 5) spent every last minute collecting shells, coke and even building our family fort right outside the back door. My favorite part was the wildlife that abounds this location - mama and baby deers, otters, bald eagles and my favorite the dolphins who play in the waters just outside the back door. This is a one of a kind special community to relax and unwind. We will be back!

Sweet House in a Great Location
We had a great time staying at this property in early July 2022. The house is nicely furnished and is in very good condition. The kitchen is nicely equipped, and the provided linens are of good quality. Best of all, though, is the location — just a few feet from the waters of Puget Sound. We made very good use of the deck facing the water, the charcoal grill, and the fire pit right next to the beach. We would stay here again, though perhaps later in the summer, when it’s a bit warmer.

A wonderful beach vacation!

We could have stayed forever-
The house was absolutely perfect for our family. It was spotless, and the layout was comfortable for our family of four. I absolutely loved the way the current owners honored the history of the home and left many of the original finishes and features intact while updating it with all the modern conveniences. Of course, that view cannot be overstated. The sound of the waves tumbling the rocks gently against the shore was like music. Porpoises were silhouetted by the setting sun, and the distant mountains that seemed to rise out of the clouds were an absolutely magical backdrop to our stay. The management company was responsive and communicative- LOVED dealing with them vs some of the other ones in that area. I would stay again and again...and again!

Great Memories!
Our stay on this property was great. The description was very accurate and the location was great. As soon as you walk in the front door you see the great view. It was nice waking up every morning hearing the waves and having coffee/breakfast as you look out the front room window. The back patio is great and we spent as much time out there as inside. My family and I made great memories the week we stayed and will definitely go back.

Last minute weekend getaway
We had to cancel a planned weekend getaway due to smoke and fires in E. Washington. Hoping to still getaway, we found Vintage Beach House which has a last minute cancellation. We found a gem. It was the perfect place for three couples to hang out and explore the area as well: beach walks, bike rides, kayaking, porpoise watching, the list goes on. We definitely want to come back.
