„We had 3 couples and 1 single person so we rented the extra guest cottage and we were all very comfortable. There was plenty of parking. The kitchen was well equipped. The house has a big view of the lake and it is mostly undeveloped as far as the view you have from the house. So, you get the feeling it is all yours to enjoy.“

„A fabulous place with the most excellent hosts we’ve ever interacted with! The house itself is completely usable and every single amenity is included: all kinds of pots, pans, differently sized plates and cups and glasses, foil and parchment paper-it lacks absolutely nothing! Add to that the historic nature of the house-so fun to stay in the old jail and to be able to see evidence of it. The patios are excellent and the creek is right out back; a couple of blocks from the front of the house ...

„Went to visit our daughter at UMHB. The house was perfect and we will definitely book it again. While the cleaning fee is a little higher than a regular stay, it literally takes care of everything so worth it by far. Beds were comfy, loved the extra throw blankets in the living room and the all the other extras“

„First of all, the lake view was stunning! The house is pretty, but we did have some issues. We did make Carrie aware that one of the cabinets in the kitchen was broken, windows were cracked, one of the knobs to the back door was really loose, and there wasn't any complimentary wine as stated on the Welcome sign. Carrie did send over a complimentary wine and sparkling grape for the kids. That was very sweet of her! She did explain what happened to the other issues as well, and we understood. ...

„House was fantastic, spacious and so clean. Kitchen was big and well equipped. Layout was fabulous and that primary bedroom with the lake views was amazing. I'm almost glad that the weather wasn't ideal because we had a fantastic time enjoying the house and could truly relax. We did have one very nice day and hiking nearby was great and we came back and saw a fox as we sat on the back observation deck - we saw deer every evening as well. Definitely planning another trip at a different time ...
