Escape to paradise with this stunning two-bedroom bungalow on Okaloosa Island! With its own private beach and just a short walk to the gorgeous white sands of the Gulf of Mexico, this is the perfect getaway for families or friends seeking a relaxing beach vacation.

Savor the breathtaking water view of the Santa Rosa Sound from the comfort of the cozy living room, where a 55" Roku TV awaits for you to binge-watch your favorite shows. The kitchen is fully equipped with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig machine to make your morning coffee, while the breakfast peninsula provides seating for two.

The master bedroom features a king-sized memory foam bed and 55" Roku TV for a comfortable night's sleep, and the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top. Both bedrooms offer ample closet space to store your belongings. The bathroom includes a tub/shower, and all linens, shampoo, conditioner, and toiletries are provided during your stay.

Step outside and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the private beach area, complete with a swing set. The dock can be rented at an additional fee of $50/day. With no need to get caught in traffic, you can spend your days soaking up the sun, swimming in the warm waters of the Gulf, and dining at the nearby restaurants and bars. Due to being on an island with a tropical climate, there are tropical insects, amphibians, fish, etc. The space is treated regularly for pests however, you may come across a palmetto bug, wood roach, American roach, Ceratopogonidae (no-seams), mosquitos, termites, etc. During storms, we tend to find that insects can and will invade spaces to get away from the rain. While we do take precautions to keep these critters out, it is sometimes out of our control as this is the environment in which we live. The property is located very close to the water — snakes such as water moccasins are seen on occasion, especially near rocks and such, please make sure you are aware of your surroundings. Swimming in the bay there are a variety of aquatic species that can cause harm, swim at your own risk.

LOCALS: Locals must communicate with the host before booking.

CHECK-IN: Check-in time is 4pm or after (unless early check-in is paid and confirmed). Please confirm with the host before booking using the Airbnb app messenger if early check-in is required. If early check-in is possible, the Guest agrees to pay a $50 early check-in fee.

LINENS/SUPPLIES: The linens and supplies provided will not be replenished during your stay as housekeeping is not provided, you have the option to use the the washer/dryer provided (if the property includes in unit) or you can use the community laundry to clean linens which is normally coined check the house manual for codes. Consumables have already been provided for the duration of your stay. *BED LINENS ARE NOT PROVIDED FOR COUCH OR SOFA BEDS, IF YOU NEED LINENS THEY CAN BE DELIVERED BEFORE 5PM (as long as the request is accepted) EXTRA LINENS ARE $25 EXTRA PER SET*

CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 11am. For the cleaner to have time to prepare for the next guest properly, we ask that guests have checked out by this time. Guests are to leave keys as required in the House Manual. Check-out is defined as all guests and personal property being entirely off of the property with keys in the required location. The guest agrees to pay a $50 fine if not checked out by the specified check-out time.

If late check-out is required, please confirm with the host prior to booking using the Airbnb app messenger. If late check-out is approved by the host, the Guest agrees to pay a $25 late check-out fee for each extended hour of stay.

PROPERTIES WITH STAIRS: Please use rails when using stairs, no running, or horseplay, children will need to be accompanied when using stairs, if there are any hazards please report them before using stairs.

PROPERTIES WITH BACKYARD/FRONT YARD: The yards are on a maintenance schedule however, there can be hazards like glass, cacti, sand spurs, construction debris, etc placed that has not been acknowledged. Please wear shoes and watch where you step. Please check yard for pets. DOCK: All waterfront properties with a dock may offer a boat slip for an extra fee. Please contact the host for details.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANTS: Only the specific number of guests noted in the booking are allowed on premises unless approved in writing by the host/manager. If Guest exceeds the occupancy noted in the reservation, all guests and/or visitors to the Property will be immediately evicted without refund for unused days remaining. Guest also agrees to pay a charge of $20 per person/ per day for every visitor not identified by Guest in the reservation.

AGE: You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of booking to reserve this Property. Guest confirms that he/she is older than 18.

SHOES: Guests shall remove shoes when inside the home.

WILD ANIMALS/PESTS: Some properties are near large bodies of water, swamp, or areas where wild animals roam. While visiting Florida please be mindful we do have tropical bugs — mosquitoes, palmetto bugs, wood roaches, no seeums, etc. While we do actively treat for pests you may encounter a few critters during your stay. If the doors are left open, you will most likely allow these creatures in the home. As much as we’d love a critter free home sometimes it’s just not possible. Let us know if you’ve encountered anything that may alarm you!

SMOKING FEE: Guest agrees to pay a $500 smoke Damage Cleaning Fee if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered by host/manager or cleaning crew after guest checks out. This fee will cover costs to remove odors from the home, and lost revenue during cleaning.

PETS: There are to be no pets on the Property - except with the prior written authorization of the host. There will be a $100 pet fee to cover the cost of any extra cleaning, to be determined by the cleaning professional. We offer a friendly, clean space to all our guests, please help us maintain this by picking up all waste and discarding it in the outside trash bins. Please do no allow pets on the furniture. Guests who bring a pet or pets without approval will be charged a $300 Pet Fee and immediately evicted from the Property without refund for the remaining days on reservation.

EVENTS/ VENDORS: No Events. Any vendors entering the Property are prohibited.

REPORTING DAMAGE: The guest agrees to keep the Property in the same condition throughout their stay. Any damage to furnishings, fixtures, furniture, or other notable conditions found upon arrival will be reported to the Host/Manager within one (1) hour of Occupancy. If guest fails to address these issues within (1) hour they forfeit the right to request a refund, as the guest did not allow the host an opportunity to correct issues. Host will attempt to correct issue, and if it's not correct the guest will have an option to move to another property suggested by host and if the host is unable to provide alternative housing, airbnb will assist.

HAZARDS: It's the guests responsibility to report hazardous items to avoid an accident (Water spills, Brokens steps/Rails etc)

CHILDREN: We do not child-proof any of our units. There may be chemicals in reach, outlets are not covered, dressers and stands are not mounted to the wall. It's the parents responsibility to child-proof anything that may cause harm to your child.

DAMAGE: Guest agrees to pay any damage made by guests or their visitors to the Property and Property furnishings, fixtures, or furniture. Guest agrees to pay for any damage made by guests or visitors.

ENTERING PREMISES: Host, or Host's Agent may enter the Property at any time, with no prior notice, in the event of an emergency, to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, and with 24 hours’ notice for normal maintenance.

ITEMS LEFT BEHIND: Host shall not be liable or responsible for personal items left behind, lost or stolen. If you leave an item after checking out and wish to have it returned, message Host/Manager as soon as possible and we will arrange for shipment. We will inform you of the shipping cost and with your approval, charge the credit card on file to cover the expense.

ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES: Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction from the Property. You, your guests and visitors, agree that any drug use on the Property, or using the Property for any unlawful purpose, or violation of any law or ordinance on or about the Property will immediately terminate your occupancy and be grounds for immediate eviction from the Property. You shall be liable for any and all costs incurred by Host and the refund will not be provided for the remaining balance of your stay.

LIABILITY: Host shall not be liable to Guest, its guests or invitees or any other person for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the Property. Guest shall hold Host harmless and indemnify Host from and against all loss, injury or damage occasioned by the use or misuse or abuse of any part of the Property and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of Guests, or invitees.

LOSS OF USE: Guest agrees to pay any documented loss of host income created by Guest violating house rules.

PROPERTIES WITH KEY (REPLACEMENT): Costs to replace any lost or damaged keys is $25 per key.

What is going on here?
The place is cute online and first impression was cute. However the bed wasn’t soft, the tub drain didn’t clog so I could take a bath and no handles for elders so of course my mom slipped and fell landing on the end causing severe bruising and pain :( . Y son went to sit on the couch and a nail was sticking out of the coffee table and scratched and dented into his leg. Thankful his tennis is up to date. No canoes to use but they are in the picture. And a very nice drink 24/7 gentleman who was doing or renting long term next to us who loved blasting his music and ordering female company if you know what I mean. Let’s see, 4 glasses total with 3 tee is tiny tea cups for coffee?. Laundry washer was so rusted I didn’t dare use it.:…and getting a hold of anyone was a joke! Only if it is an emergency can you contact…..huh?

Very cute little place
Very cute little place with only two chairs for dinning, so we are family of 4(2 kids and 2 adults) couldn’t it all together or had to stand . The place is very close to public beaches you can walk there or drive 2 minutes. Neither beach towels, nor any spices (salt, pepper) are provided, it is something you want to keep in mind.

This is a great spot. The private beach and dock area are great. Great fishing spot! Close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The sunsets are breathtaking. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

Great location but several minor issues
Very cute and trendy but the lights in the bedroom don’t work and multiple outlets. We made it work but was still frustrating having to use our phone flashlights to see in the bedrooms at night. I messaged the host asking if there was a trick to get them to turn on but no response. Up until then response had been good. Location is great. If these things were fixed I would consider staying there again. The dock and view out back is beautiful.

In one word. “Adequate”
Location is the best part of this stay. Easy walking distance to the beach with a nice grassy area by the dock out back makes this a great stay for families with pets or children. Nothing is majorly wrong with this property but the minor issues did add up. The ceiling light in the master and living room won’t turn on. There are outlets that don’t work. The lamp in the second bedroom doesn’t work. The kitchen had no water cups or cooking knives. There is no dishwasher or garbage disposal (I’d recommend only using the microwave). Parking can also be a bit tricky to turn a big car around. Overall if you get a good price this is better than a hotel. However, if you don’t have pets I’d recommend you just stay at the Hilton or Marriott already on the beach. (Prices seem to be very similar when you add up the cleaning fee, and additional fees)
