This cabin is located just outside of Frankfort, Ky's State Capital and in the heart of bourbon and horse country. The farm and cabins (there is another cabin), are owned and operated by a family whose ancestors originally came to Ky with Daniel Boone. Great, great grandchldren of George T Stagg (early bourbon pioneer for the bourbon lovers), great, great neices/nephews of Benjamin C Milam (Ky Reel maker), and great, great neices/nephews of Benjamin R Milam (hero of the Texas Revolution). There is a lot of history surrounding the family and the location.
For people interested in Ky artist, Paul Sawyier, the cabin is full of examples of his work. There is a replica copper still awarded to the family by Buffalo Trace when George T Stagg was inducted into the Bourbon Hall of Fame. There are many tales of bourbon history here that you won't find in public.
Deer hunting, turkey hunting, fishing, and golf can also be arranged with the owners at additional fees.
