cheap and insufficient
I stayed in this hotel two times within 5 days in 8/ 2016.
The first time I had a tiny room. It was very dirty when I got there. There was hair on dirt in the bathroom all over the floor. So I told them. A woman came to clean; afterwards the hair and dirt were in a different corner. But at least the room had a window. Other people in my group didn't have any window!
I found the staff quite impolite. Once I was asked not to speak Spanish to them, but English/French. I don't think that is adequate for hotel personnel.
Breakfast officially starts at 8am. Once I and 4 other people were there at 8 am. The person who was in charge of breakfast arrived with two shopping bags at 8:10 am. The first guest was served at 8:15am. I couldn't eat breakfast that day because I had to leave at 8:25 am. Anyway, breakfast is poor, the ham gross.
As I had heard of rooms without a window (and non-existent air-conditioning)I had specifically asked for a room with a window for the last night. First I was told there was no room left. I said I'd like to cancel the night if my room didn't have a window. When I mentioned cancellation, they DID find a room with a window after a few seconds.
Unfortunately, when I got there the second time, I couldn't open the door to my room. I went downstairs to the reception desk and told them. The woman there was not happy about that and said it was easy to open it. It turned out the door had been locked by the maid with a key I didn't have.
