„The inside of the house was satisfactory. The outside is in need of maintenance quite a bit. The outside areas where in need of paint, landscaping maintenance, and fencing is in a bad state. It truly could be a great opportunity for more income if it was in a better condition. Grass was not even mowed. We did like that the yard has different areas set up and the hot tub was great. We used the pizza oven the 1st night and that was a new experience for us.“

„Took our family of 5 to get a taste of city living. We live on an island in the UP. We enjoyed fun box, slime ville, peppa pig land, lego land, sealife, water park, splash pad, belle islle, and lunch down town detroit. The girls were exhausted everyday but coming back to a nice house in a nice neighborhood was the perfect way to end the day.“

„Black & White vibes for days! Rented this gem while in town to see a show at Pine Knob and it was so lovely. The historic charm was perfectly restored in each room. Travelled a quick visit over to the Detroit Zoo, had drinks a few minutes away at Liberty Bar, and spent a great evening around the fire pit. Will be back soon for sure!“

While it is an older home, it was clean and had everything we needed. I was nervous about getting the check in information but received it the morning of check in, so I was worried for nothing. „From beginning to end this was an amazing experience. Gary is an outstanding host and a all around good person. Property is beautiful. Everything you need and then some. The lake is gorgeous. Awesome fishing and clean water for swimming. The pontoon that comes with the property is great. Its newer and very clean. Flew in from AZ and stayed here a week. I will absolutely be back next summer for a 2 week stay.“
