Waratah Cottage - close to Goulburn CBD in a quiet location

If booking two nights or more, a generous selection of breakfast provisions (some direct from the property) are included for you to make breakfast at a time which most suits you.

Waratah is a fully self contained heritage cottage with one bedroom, lounge room, kitchen and bathroom. Each room is separately air conditioned. The cottage is in a quiet location within walking distance of the CBD. WiFi is included. A barbeque is set aside for guests in the well established gardens. Check-in is between 2pm and 8.00pm and check-out is by 10.30am.

A wonderful stay in Goulburn
We stayed three nights in Anne & Alex’s cottage, from the moment we arrived they were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful in wanting to make sure we had a great experience. In particular we loved the homegrown honey and other treats provided. The cottage had everything we needed, and is in a convenient, quiet location close to the town centre. We would happily stay again!

Home from Home
From the moment we arrived, Anne and Alex were the consummate hosts. From a well-stocked fridge to a comfortable and welcoming set up in the Cottage, we couldn't have been more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Waratah Cottage to anyone staying in Goulburn.

This was a great place for our overnight stay in Goulburn, it was lovely to be able to walk around the garden after being in the car. This historic brick and stone cottage offers a solid buffer from the world - it felt so relaxing and safe, as if connected to a quieter time. Generous & Friendly Hosts
This is the 3rd time we've stayed here. Anne & Alex are such generous and friendly hosts. The historic cottage is a perfect little home for a couple. It's separate from the main home, set in a lovely garden, and has all amenities needed including very generous breakie provisions. It's about 1km from the centre of town but close enough to walk and get some exercise. This is a good base to explore the area. Officially it's street parking but Alex will open the private gates for special wheels on request. Looking forward to returning again in the future.

Tranquil Hideaway
Property Manager caring, available and communicative. We had a personal problem where it may have affected our stay, and Property Manager was empathetic and supportive. Property was even more charming and spacious than expected; indoors and out! Own private access, but Property Manager on hand as needed. Everything we needed (and more!) was available. It was extremely comfortable and warm, we could hear the beautiful sounds of nature and birds, enjoyed lovely sunshine flooding in through the window, but also plenty of privacy, as required. The greenery visible through the windows was relaxing. We enjoyed a quick guided tour of the entire yard, one morning, while enjoying a breakfast made with fresh ingredients provided by the considerate Property Manager. Sad we only had a two-night stay. Location was also convenient (for guests with own vehicle), as close to Goulburn and Goulburn South. Would definitely stay again! Thank you both; it was an absolute pleasure being guests at your Cottage, and it was just the place we needed for our type of getaway. The vibrations and energy were so positive and calming. Thank you for allowing us to completely absorb all your gardening efforts. It truly was a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for offering your lovely property.
