Our vision with this property was always clear and consistent as with all of my other properties. We wanted to combine all our favorite features from various Airbnb stays around the world under one roof. We hope that we have accomplished just that, and we are always grateful for any tips that can help us get closer to this goal.

    The house was great and the host, Richard was great with communication. All the snacks were a bonus and helped us when we arrived with getting something in our belly’s. The house was very clean and organized, and the backyard was great for my two frenchies to run around. All in all we loved our stay and would definitely stay again!!!

    We had an amazing stay at Amelia’s place in Greensboro! The property was impeccably maintained, and it’s clear that the owner put a lot of thought into providing thoughtful amenities that made us feel right at home. From the cozy atmosphere to the little details that showed care, everything exceeded our expectations.     My family and I stayed in the home over Thanksgiving and appreciated the fenced yard for our fur babies and a well-stocked kitchen for preparing meals. The beds are comfy and great water pressure in the showers. Everything we needed for our family gathering! Recommend!

    Unfortunately, our stay didn’t meet our expectations. The property looked much older in person than the photos online, and the living room furniture was different from what's shown in the listing. When we arrived for check-in, the house was still being cleaned, so we had to wait in our car for about 10 minutes until the cleaner finished. We also found mold in the bathroom on both the shower curtain and tiles, as well as in one of the bedroom closets. The primary bathroom had additional issues—the grate in the shower was painted, causing it to bubble when running the water, and the toilet started running and nearly overflowed. That being said, the house was generally clean, and the location was fine. The host was very responsive when we reached out about the mold and refunded our money after we decided to check out after just one night (we had originally booked for four nights). It’s a shame because it’s a cute house, but more attention to detail on these pressing issues is really needed.

    Cute Little House Right in Greensboro
    Our family stayed at this property for our daughter's UNCG college graduation weekend. It was an older home with very few updates, but it was adequate for what we needed for a long weekend. The host was responsive and check in was easy. If you are looking for a luxury stay, I would not recommend this property. If you are looking for a small, cozy place that feels like a little cottage with a nice, little yard/patio, then this is a place you would enjoy. :-)

    We stayed here for 4 nights for my daughter’s graduation from Elon and to help her move into a new apartment. There were 5 of us, including my elderly parents. We enjoyed the clean and comfortable home and the outdoor space where we hung out and relaxed mostly for breakfast. Easy access to the highway- about 25-30 minutes to Elon. The host, Richard, was very responsive to any questions! We highly recommend this VRBO for your stays.

    After realizing we would need a place to stay longer than 1-2 days, and also needing a pet friendly location, I was able to find Amelia’s Retreat. It was the perfect spot, the home is nice, we had plenty of room, and the backyard was perfect for our little dog. The location was great and conveniently located to shopping and a variety of restaurants. We would love to stay here again on our future trips to the area!

    The house was what we were looking for and met our needs perfectly. It was clean and well stocked with anything you could want and more. The owner was gracious to have snacks, coffee, and other goodies available to us. Bed was comfortable. We loved the fenced in yard which worked well for my dog to stretch his legs and play.
