„The house is close to the Sandy Bay shops and restaurants and many of Hobart's iconic places. It has everything you need. For us, the bed was a little too firm but our son found the bed in the second bedroom very comfortable, so a matter of personal taste. The host was very accommodating.“

„The cabin is beautifully appointed and comfortable. The location is just serene. The river is peaceful and we did manage to see a platypus. Location wise is great base for the Huon valley. We loved our stay and would love to return“

„The cottage is lovely and the owner was very personable. Our only disappointment was the breakfast provisions. We thought if we had been tourists staying in the Huon we would have expected some lovely local produce. Instead it was just Coles brand items. The facilities are very nice though and it was perfect for what we needed.“

„The host was very welcoming and explained everything to us as we were guided to our accomodation. What a lovely surprise, a deck to view the rolling hills and river from, step inside this 1840 exquisite building and first thing that greets you is a cask of port with enough in it for 6 tipples sitting on that lovely deck (which also has a bbq btw). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The host also suppies the many books he has written and published and he has copies ...
