Also, they are building a new house at the bottom of the property, so it's a little dangerous having to walk thru a construction site to get to the beach down below. „Do not know where to start. WE PREPAID when we registered, but the owner said we needed to make another full. There were only two plates, no cutting knives, the glasses had sticky goo all over them, the stove did not work, there was no drinking water available. The couch is a very very old futon that looks like it has been picked off the street. The front door knob came off the second time we used it (it was loose and was about to fall off when we arrived). „Awesome private home hidden right in the middle of Panajachel. We loved the spacious interior and the fact that everything was so peaceful in the evenings yet within walking distance to everything. “

„The apartment is great, clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. I’m not giving it 5 stars because there should be an A/C, it’s hot without A/C during the day and at night. Also check in communication is bad, they don’t send email with information/instructions, we had to call them literally parked outside to get to instructions.
