The Hukilau Marketplace is less than 10 minutes down the road with some great food trucks. The beach is beautiful and quiet. Often we had the beach to ourselves! The best part is falling asleep to the crashing waves and the breeze of the cool trade winds.“

„If you don’t want to pay the high prices for a resort this was an excellent choice. We had 5 days on the island . Being close to the hotel was not our goal. We got up and out exploring each day. Back to shower for dinner at one of the multiple restaurants within 5 minutes away. The beach once you locate is also 5 minutes away. Perfect choice for us“

„We stayed for 10 days in this lovely cottage and enjoyed a real home. We had a very warm welcome and Gale showed us quickly around the house. We didn't realize then, that the cottage is equipped with everything one could need for a holiday. We loved the beach chairs and umbrella, the kitchen was fully equipped, we made a nice bbq one evening, had breakfast on the lanai eating the fresh fruit from the farmers market and the wonderful kona coffee, which we brewed with the french press available. ...

„The house and beach access were just as it was advertised. Beautiful beach, house and yard! The home was very roomy and accommodated all the family needs. The yard provided lots of parking. We had full access to beach toys (kayak, paddle & boogie boards, snorkels, etc.). The kitchen had every gadget you could want or need. Each bathroom had 2 accesses, which can be challenging with 6 kids and minimal boundaries. I would definitely recommend this property.“

„Wer eine ruhige, schöne Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgebern sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Auf einem tollen Grundstück gelegen, ist es nur durch eine sehr wenig befahrene Küstennebenstraße vom Meer getrennt. Zur steinigen Küste mit vielen Schildkröten und spektakulären Wellen sind es nur wenige Schritte. Lava-Ponds (einer davon etwas versteckt zugänglich direkt rechts vom Haus) zum Planschen oder entspannen im Meerwasser ebenso direkt in der Nähe. Nächste Strände 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt ...

„Great stay, lovely location! It is a little bit outside of the centre up the hill so you are likely to get rain if there is any! Only complaint was that some gardening needed to be done at 8am one of the days which was very loud and disruptive, the internet was extremely slow and patchy and the rules listed are quite strict, especially regarding charges for losing items such as towels or kets and excess dirtiness. This wasn't an issue for us fortunately.“

„Es war ein tolles Erlebnis, einmal in einer Jurte zu wohnen. In der Nacht im Bett den Sternenhimmel zu sehen und träumen....super. Leider liegt diese Jurte sehr weit oben, nicht zentral, in der Nacht schwer zu finden. Das WC ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber eben man gewöhnt sich daran. Es ist nicht wie zuhause. Das Bett ist sehr gut, super bequem. Man hat alles was man braucht.“
