„The surroundings are beautiful and you really feel secluded and part of the natural bush - it really deserves its name "Bush Retreat". However, if I hadn't had a new rental car with good tyres I would've felt even more nervous at having to drive up the very, very steep hill to reach the Retreat - this should be pointed out in their reservations or on their webpage because city dwellers and visitors from areas where dirt roads are uncommon are taken unaware. „Lots of character in main building. Lovely spot with a couple of nice walks nearby. We had a room in a seperate building which was renovated and very comfortable. Busy restaurant with good meals. Staff may have been stressed as it was busy, not very friendly or attentive.“
