„Beautiful cottage in a quiet, idyllic location. Beautifully and lovingly furnished. You have all the comforts of a modern and well equipped kitchen, washing machine and a lovely new bathroom. Everything is clean and you can feel very comfortable. Fiona and Andy are great landlords! „Our group of 11 active seniors were wanting for nothing during our stay. The apartments were roomy and well kept, the grounds are beautiful, and the location suited our needs to travel both north west and east from the lodging. This may not be the last time we visit this beautiful home.“

„It's a wonderful cottage if you are looking for a place away from the hustle of your everday life. Quiet, well equipped and yet only a 15 minute drive away from Oban. We especially enjoyed walking directly from the house along the coast on a somewhat hidden path (not easy, but doable). One tiny suggestion though to the owner: Given the price during the main season I wouldn't ask for an extra charge for firewood.“

„Sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Sehr schöne saubere Wohnung. 2 Badezimmer! Gute Lage, direkt in der Stadt, am Hafen. Nebenan ist das tolle Chocolate Cafe. Parken ist nur über Nacht an der Wohnung möglich, tagsüber eher schwierig, einen kostenlosen Parkplatz zu finden, aber möglich.“

„We booked through home and away so was surprised that all communication subsequently came from cottages.com ( who were obviously the property manager) and then discovered that if I had originally booked with them the cottage would have been cheaper- which was annoying . Also disappointed that due to a local land dispute a nearby resident had erected a fence and we were unable to access the Loch near the cottage“

„We stayed in ‘The Bothy’ at Artun. Mrs Cameron met us and made us feel welcome. The position of the Bothy was good for us as it was close to the loch and we saw an otter. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. Thank you.“

„Booked this for my daughter and 2 grand children, last minute as her tent was broken by the adverse weather they was experiencing. They loved the property, they said it was very clean and well equipped and they loved the view of the mountains. Property is very close to a train station but my daughter said they didnt hear any noise from it.“

„The property is a delight. It’s cosy clean and warm. Not many places offer a view of an ancient castle. Richard shows huge interest in how guests recycle. The compost bin meant all our food waste doesn’t go to land fill. It’s our second time staying in Castle Cottage and would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a place to stay. “
