„Our family room was extremely old and run down. Spiders and cobwebs everywhere. The carpet was totally filthy. It stank horribly, so that it burned the lungs. Breakfast is only available from 8 am. As we had to get to the Eurotunnel earlier, we tried to get something to eat at 7.30 a.m., but this was not approved, although everything was already laid out and ready. The only thing to recommend is the restaurant in the evening, which unfortunately is not the point here. It's great and very tasty.“

I needed to leave earlier than breakfast was served, so was provided with a breakfast hamper, which was absolutely wonderful! Very, very good service in the restaurant too. “

Gut gelegen in bezaubernden Örtchen Wye, ideal auch für eine Zwischenübernachtung vor einer Weiterreise nach Europa oder nach Devon / Cornwall.“

„Very friendly place, very busy in bar area but accommodation separate (& quiet 😊👍)… enjoyed looking round the bar area after breakfast next day, lots of interesting items/photos etc and nice to be away from the ‘corporate’ feel that most hotels seem to have these days. I’m sure we’ll be back.“
