"Die Schäden von Sturm Milton waren in der Umgebung noch sichtbar. Der Trakt von TradeWind nebenan, zu dem RumFish gehört, war geschlossen. Der Strand war wunderbar, es gab sogar Getränkeservice am Strandkorb. Beim Hotel spielte manchmal eine Livemusik am Pool. Das WiFi war während der ganzen Woche kaputt und konnte offenbar nicht repariert werden. Das war ärgerlich, aber hatte vielleicht auch einen Zusammenhang mit den Sturmschäden. Das WiFi von Tradewinds funktionierte. Dort konnte man sich einloggen, doch war das Signal sehr schwach. Als Strandhotel ist das RumFish sehr schön. Bräunen und baden im Meer im November bei 21 Grad Celsius ist schon etwas Besonderes."

"Preis/Leistung u. Lage stimmt vorzüglich! Auch wenn momentan wegen den Hurrikan/Schäden der Pool u. Lift nicht benutzbar ist! Empfehlenswert! "

"A great hotel. The rooms are large, comfortable and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable. Everything is very clean. No noise pollution despite the proximity to the airport. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, which you can regulate yourself. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and very reasonable for 7 dollars. The pool is also very clean and a good size. The concept is successful and is rounded off by the very friendly and helpful staff. I felt completely at ease and will definitely be back."

""We got you!" was the welcoming reply to my - at times very individual mom-travelling-with-two-kids - questions upon our arrival and it persisted as the Island Grand at TradeWinds' wonderful agenda for our whole stay: Everything was being cared for - from the perfect "organize your own home" room amenities, over the fantastic bars & restaurants on location, to the great fun for kids & adults alike on the water slide, the zip line & the wonderful beach with its comfortable cabanas. I will never forget how the whole lobby (guests & staff) applauded when I was so happy that Josh (I hope I remember your name correctly :)) returned my wallet that I had left on the counter. Thanks a million Island Grand at TradeWinds for these fantastic gulf coast memories - we cannot wait to be back at this perfect family location!"
