Best location
This house was located right on the water just South of Kailua-Kona. It is a great base location for exploring the island IF you can peel yourself out of the chairs on the lanai overlooking the water. The house is well stocked with items to use in the kitchen, as well as things to use at the beach like towels, chairs, umbrellas, and snorkels. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return.

We loved staying here! It was so clean and comfortable! Beautiful views, close to everything. I loved that I could hear the waves all night! Put me right to sleep! Wonderful property! Binder with instructions/passwords etc seemed to be miss placed somewhere... Never could find it. Check in said there was one. Only telling you so the next people will have it! Thanks!

Beautiful home with a wonderful ocean view!
This is the perfect place to relax and unwind! This property is close to shopping, restaurants, and a grocery store if you would rather cook instead of going out to dinner. We witnessed beautiful sunsets and saw whales daily from the outdoor sitting area. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to visiting again.

Wish we had never left.
It’s rare when a rental lives up to expectations but this one was stellar and we wish we had had never left. Four adults comfortably stayed here for a little less than a week and I could see how a couple of kids could easily stay in the bunk beds. The rental was very stocked with dishes, towels, linens and it was so nice to have a washer and dryer! We spent most evenings watching the sunset and mornings watching the fish and surfers out front. We can’t wait to return!

Wow what a fabulous stay!
I can't begin to say how much we enjoyed our week here. From the moment we walked into the courtyard with the beautiful flowers in the trees and the birds chirping to the amazing ocean front view. This place is huge. The kitchen is a gourmet kitchen full of anything that you would need to cook anything. The living room was very comfortable and overlooked the ocean. You could see the ocean while cooking. High ceilings in all of the rooms. I could see a palm tree in the skylight. The master bedroom has a big sliding door that overlooks the beautiful courtyard. High ceilings fabulous shower. we were worried we might get hot due to no air-conditioning in the living room and kitchen but as long as you had the ceiling fans going in the windows open with the ocean breeze it was just fine. We walked to town a few times and also took the trolley a couple times. There's a trolley schedule but it's not that accurate so sometimes we would wait for the trolley or just keep walking. they were lots of restaurants and bars and shopping anything you could ever need right in town. And there was a really good farmers market that sold fresh vegetables and fruits and all kinds of Hawaiian gifts. You can pick up beautiful fresh ginger and they allow you to fly it home since it is a root and as long as there's no soil. So we took some home and it's really fresh and good. This is a great location even if you want to tour the island we basically did a three or four different day trips and came right back to our fabulous ocean retreat. This was a great vacation. I would definitely stay here again so it was beautiful in a place I would never be able to buy but it sure wonderful to stay in. There's also an outdoor shower that you can use in it looks like you're surrounded by lava. There is laundry in the garage but we never used it. Thank you to the owners who share this home. It is a dream.

Lovely rental home
Stunning view and nightly sunsets right from the balcony of this fabulous home. Well equipped for anything you could need, with the dual advantage of being private and tucked away yet accessible to town and beaches. Our family of 5 was very comfortable. Lovely garden patio, spacious master suite and separate room for kids , great deck. Note: not centrally air conditioned- two unit AC for master and bunk areas, certainly the numerous windows offer cross breeze in the main room and second bedroom, cools things down at night. Every beach need you could ask for is available. We loved it!

Amazing Lanai
This property is perfect for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the sight and wave action of the ocean. The view of the sunsets from the lanai were better than anyplace else so we either ate earlier or later to take advantage of the incredible views at this property. I would highly recommend it.

Love this place!!!
Very clean comfortable house with all the kitchen amenities one would need. Lovely lanai and grassy area. I loved sitting on the lanai drink my morning coffee and watch whales, dolphins, waves and the beautiful sunsets. There is shopping and restaurants, everything you need close by but yet your location feels very private. The house has everything you need for the beach. This location was perfect for our family of six. I would definitely stay here again and again!!!

The property was really great and the lanai was exceptional. The only problem was the directions. Our flight was changed and we came in at night. The sign mentioned in the directions wasn't there. It took us over 45 minutes to find the property even though we had a GPS. The driveway is hidden so we had to park and get out and walk.

Week in Paradise
Sunsets from this property are amazing. The home is centrally located and set back from the main road into town. The sound of the ocean and birds is soothing. We prepared many meals in the kitchen to avoid masks and lines at the restaurants. My daughter and sister slept on the lanai. It was nice to use the chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards when we went to the beaches. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

This home is amazing!
This is an amazing property. Location on the ocean and close to town was perfect. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous, very well appointed with literally everything you could need during your stay. It was spotless and beds were super comfortable. The only ding I have is that we had gotten an email from a travel concierge saying the service came with rental and listing several options - awesome, however when I tried to contact her while on island, I never heard anything back. I realize we may have been too late to book some events (though we did find one on our own), I would have at least appreciated a response. That does not take away our rating or experience with the property. I’d also mention it may be very hot in the summer. The bedrooms have AC but they had a hard time keeping up on warmer days and the makin area relies on ocean breezes and ceiling fans - fine for most of our trip but this would be tough during the summer months. Again though, the house, the lanai, the tropical garden...exquisite!

FANTASTIC property!
This was our second time to the Big Island, having stayed at another VRBO location previously. I looked for a quality property directly on the ocean, with a location near Kona. This home is absolutely beautiful. I don't think it could have been any better. It definitely couldn't have been any closer to the ocean! The on line listing represents exactly what this property is. The pictures of the listing are true to reality. You can walk just about any where on the west coast from this property, the location is very secluded, even though there are neighbors on both sides, it is well appointed with everything you will need. The owners have even supplied snorkeling equipment, beach equipment, beach towels and boogie boards. Complaints? It's hard to find one; I guess I would say that, even though the listing clearly says they only supply a 'starter' amount of supplies for the bath and kitchen- they should supply more. We had to buy diswasher tablets, toilet paper, coffee filters, and trash bags. We could not find back-stock of these supplies, and we did not bother the managers to ask if these items were stored somewhere on property- so in fairness, additional supplies might have been on site. If you go in the very near future, be prepared that there is bridge work/road construction LITERALLY at the driveway for this property and between the hours of 8am and 5pm it is not a quiet location. I'm sure it will be finished soon. All in all, I rate this property a 110 out of 100!! It's truly that nice. PS- I also used the concierge service that came with the management company. She was so kind, and organized a Manta Ray excursion and an in home massage.
