„Lovely welcome from the staff who were very informative about everything from parking to meals to how to contact them. Parking is very limited however public parking is available nearby. Room was comfortable and warm. Had all the things needed (tea, coffee, basic toiletries, towels etc). Having a safe in the room was a nice touch. The only little things are there is no mirror next to the table to do hair / make up as it’s across the room and the toilet door constantly hits the bathroom ...

„Fantastic location, convenient base for short Ullswater stay. Staff mostly great and welcoming, rooms very clean, corridors and paintwork showing wear and many scuffs. Room tea coffee facilities excellent, evening meal was very average and probably over priced. Breakfast, service and overall environment lovely and excellent service. Set us up well for the day and one of the nicest breakfasts I've had. Would definitely consider a return stay when in Ullswater. “

„This hotel was easy to find. When we arrived the staff were amazing and helpful. We had one problem with the room because it didn’t have enough beds, however the hotel manager was so helpful and sorted it out straight away. The food was nice and most importantly the beer was amazing!“

„The staff here are incredible, so friendly and helpful. We stayed for a nearby wedding and they gave us an iron and iron board and taxi recommendations. The food also tasted amazing and was great quality, the menu isn't large but they do regularly change their specials. „Sehr Familienfreundlich und war gar nicht laut, obwohl es in einer Pub ist. Das Zimmer war etwas klein mit Babybett. Ich würde daher ein größeres Zimmer empfehlen. Die Teppe war auch etwas nervig mit Kinderwagen.“
