„Our stay in Karnack was amazing! It was clean, easy check in, had things we forgot, cozy, and the screen porch was our absolute favorite! We loved the location close to boat but not crazy with a bunch of people! Cozy and quiet! My kids loved the rain and the screened in porch! The owner was quick to respond to my messages and was very helpful with the booking when my debit card wouldn’t work on the site! Absolutely our new favorite place! Can’t wait to come back! “

„Absolutely great place to enjoy the peace and serenity of a lakefront retreat. Hugely spacious A-frame house with kitchen and baths that contribute to your comfort. Hosts, Donna & Paul, offered friendly waves & hellos, there if you need them, leave you to yourself if you choose. „This property was an excellent find! The owners have thought of everything to make this a comfortable getaway. The home is well thought out and stocked with everything you’ll need. It was very clean too! Our whole family really loved the kayaks and spent a lot of time exploring the area that way. Plenty of outdoor space for everyone to enjoy - just bring your bug spray! We’ll definitely return to this house if going to this area again! “

„At first no luck on fishing, but finally caught a small bass, a large carp, and a small catfish on minnows. We had some rain and some cold but the Lord provided nice breaks in between so we could venture more outdoors. Took the boat tour and ate at Big Pines Lodge. Sat by fire pit and on the deck when weather permitted. Cabin is beautifully decorated and had all the things you need. Only issue is stairs if you have knee problems.“

„All I can say is WOW! Frank and Linda are absolutely great folks and the view from the back porch was beautiful! Linda was so thoughtful and had baked muffins, cookies, and an anniversary package for us! Btw her baking skills are level 10! I very much enjoyed visiting with Frank at our check in. The proposer was PEACEFUL exactly what we were looking for. We will 100% be making a return visit to this gem in east texas. “

„Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. “

„The home is a peaceful and serene area very close to the lake. We spent a lot of time walking the area, enjoying nature. We spent one afternoon in Jefferson, which is only 30 minutes away. The beds were comfortable, and the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in each shower were convenient. The kitchen had most of the items we needed, and the Ninja coffee maker was excellent. We were sad to leave and are already planning a trip back!“
