This spacious apartment is set over 3 floors on a tree lined street in a quiet leafy area of North London.
With excellent transport links and only a short walk from the coffee shops, pubs and restaurants of beautiful Highgate and trendy Crouch End, Central London is only 25mins door to door!
Two good sized double bedrooms and spacious living room with a sofa bed are tastefully decorated with a variety of art, books and plants. There is a fully equipped kitchen with every type of coffee maker, a dishwasher, washer dryer for your clothes and a beautiful roof terrace for those summer days. Quality linen and towels are provided.
Perfect for a group of up to 5 people.
*Please note that this apartment is over spread over 3 floors, is not suitable for people with mobility issues and does not have a lift.

Superb stay and wonderful hosts
Our family stayed here for 5 days and loved it. The flat is clean, the beds are comfortable, all amenities are provided and the hosts (Alex and Isi) are welcoming, responsive and first-class. The neighbourhood is lovely — mostly residential and great for walking. Perhaps not recommended for anyone with limited mobility because Highgate is quite hilly, but we loved it. There are 2 underground stations within a 15 minute walk, as well as bus stops close by. Even better, there are places to shop and eat in almost every direction (again, if you don’t mind a bit of a walk). Throw in the rooftop terrace with views of London and we could not recommend this place more highly.

The property is immaculate. Alex is a terrific host who communicated with us the whole way to make the process smooth. Great place to come home to after busy days in London. The perfect landing pad
Alex's flat provided one of the best accommodation experiences we've had on our many travels. It really feels like a "home": clean, bright rooms, tastfully and comfortably furnished; a terrific and well-equipped kitchen (we cooked there a lot!); the best beds and bed linens; good storage space; quiet and pretty neighbourhood. Loved the little roof-top terrace - up a rather steep stair/ladder, but worth the climb! Alex was a great and accommodating communicator, very responsive, kind and most helpful. Travel time from the Archway tube to the city centre and most destinations was reasonable (often around 30-40 minutes), considering how huge London is. The flat itself is a bit of a distance from the station, but there is a very regular bus (the W5) that is a minute away from the flat and a 6-minute trip to and from the station, so we never felt isolated. And Ubers are easy to get. We actually appreciated being able to retreat to our lovely, peaceful pad, as London can feel a little overwhelming after a day of museums and shopping and walking! This beautiful flat will be our preferred "home" in London when we come back.

Comfortable apartment on quiet street
This apartment was very comfortable. We were two friends traveling together so we appreciated the spaciousness of the flat. The kitchen was reasonably well appointed and everything was very clean. The host was very easy to communicate with. As others have mentioned, it is located on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood. The one thing to make note of, is that the rooftop terrace is accessed through a hatch in the upper floor ceiling. There is a ladder to climb to get up there. It would not be easy to take drinks up and impossible if you have any mobility issues. We did not use it at all during our stay although the weather was glorious. Also, both tube stations are a good 15 to 20 minute walk that includes hills so keep that in mind as well. Otherwise I would not hesitate to recommend this flat to anyone visiting London!

Great flat in a wonderful area. Not far from highgate with its wonderful village and pubs. Crouch end, which is also lovely is a short walk away. We loved the location as you felt a million miles away after a day in hectic London. Alex is a wonderful host and is super helpful. Wouldnt hesitate to stay in the wonderful flat again.

Crouch End must
Firstly, buyer beware - Crouch End is hilly very hilly so take note if you are not 100% fit /able bodied - also the flat is up one flight of stairs plus stairs to the bedrooms /bathroom and a ladder to the terrace (beware especially!). It is also a step in shower i.e. over the bathtub. Don't let that put you off, it is a beautifully appointed and dressed flat - very cozy and comfortable with all "mod cons" including very comfortable beds. The area is as delightful -great cafes, bars and pubs and very good public transport connections - the W5 bus route got very well used - we loved our temp home and will definitely stay there again the next time we get to "go home " esp. as Alex the landlord was very helpful & patient with some of our not so bright queries.

A slice of heaven
This property was amazing. The house, the decor, the artwork and the rooftop deck were all better than pictured. The location was the greatest resting spot after a day of sightseeing in Central London or hiking outside London. We spent our evenings in Crouch End at Alex’s suggestion and met lovely people and had lovely meals. Even got a makeover hairdo at The Crown. Best of all was Alex the host…so friendly, helpful, responsive and full of great suggestions. The best VRBO host I have had the pleasure of renting from in years.

Good property to be close to London but enjoying the outskirts of London.
Alex house is in a very good location. And moreover the house is in a good condition. If you are used to the London underground it is excellent. Alex house is providing every items one can ask for a long stay (We stayed close to 3 weeks) Kitchen and utilities are very sufficient I cooked a lot. Bedrooms are very good. Environment is beautiful. As a person who likes the nature they are immense opportunities to explore. Parks and walking places around are excellent. I run every morning 1 miles walked a lot etc. This is a good property for small family stays.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex’s place . It is a really cozy, stylish flat full of lovely details and we really appreciated that it was sparkling clean . A great neighborhood for your stay if you want to feel like a local! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Wonderful windows overlooking gardens and the charming street.
