„The location was gorgeous--up a steep but sturdy LONG staircase from the lake. We went mostly to be on the water. My husband rented a boat from a nearby resort and we were allowed to tie it up to our dock and keep it for the days we were there. NOTE: The dock system is NOT complete and tying up there was NOT easy, but we figured out a way. We rented a canoe from the same resort and also kept it there--there was a nice (very) little sandy beach to beach it on. Good point for all water ...

I couldn’t remember the last time we’d been somewhere that doesn’t have the constant subtle hum of a fridge or electricity. This cabin has everything you truly need and the hosts are so thoughtful. „This is an amazing Minnesota find! Our family of six found the cabin on Stone Lake to be the perfect getaway before school starts back up. We spent hours on the lake everyday with the kayaks and paddleboat, fishing for northern pike - yellow gold spinners - and cruising as we watched the loons and bald eagles. „We had our annual girls “camping” trip at this beautiful cabin. Not only was it clean, but fully equipped with anything/everything we could want for a fun weekend at the lake. Many child friendly games and activities were provided as well. The lake is calm and quiet and perfect for the littles to swim. We all enjoyed using the kayaks/paddle word as well. Can’t say enough good things!! We loved it. “
