„The house was very clean. It was perfect for my husband and I to enjoy a quiet time within easy driving distance to bar harbor, Acadia, Schoodic. At 6’1”he felt a little tight in the shower. Just fyi. It’s a cute little house with a great porch to sit and view the ever changing weather and beauty of nature. So thankful for our time here. Gorgeous views.“

„Everything was great. House was very clean. As noted in description there is a second house on the property that is located between you and the water. No one was there so it was just fine, not sure if someone was staying there how it would be. Ability to access kayaks whenever we wanted was a nice touch.“

„The property is stunning. The ocean is literally footsteps from the property. The cabin had everything we needed and extra. It was nice sitting on the screened in porch while it was raining with a good book and enjoying a lunch on the picnic table out back. Both have a beautiful view. My soul feels lifted and lighter with this stay. The host is very kind and generous and is just a text or phone call away. Its hard to put into words how lovely the home is. It’s also conveniently located; major Acadia attractions and hiking trails are just a short drive away. After a day of exploring the park, it was nice coming back to the cottage to chill. (I especially liked the swinging bench on the porch.) Overall, Summerwood Cottage provided the perfect setting for our romantic getaway.“

„The cottage was in a perfect location for my family's one week stay. Only a short drive to Bar Harbor, the beach at Seal Harbor and the trails and carriage roads of Acadia. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need for preparing any meals. The air conditioner and heaters (one cool night!) worked very well. I recommend this cottage to everyone planning on visiting the area!“

„Good location on a quiet street only 10 minute walk to downtown. We only used the master bedroom (there is a second bedroom) and the bed was quite comfortable. Photographs on Vacasa’s website give the impression of a much more modern, updated home than reality. House is satisfactory and in reasonable shape, but condition and furnishing do not warrant the premium price. Also Vacasa was not very responsive to our repair requests (issues were not urgent but did deserve attention).“
