Great Brady St. Lage (Ostseite). Viele Restaurants, Clubs, Kaffeehäuser und Lebensmittelgeschäfte zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Nähe der Innenstadt und des Fiserv-Forums und 6 Blocks vom Michigansee entfernt. Etwas mehr als eine Meile vom Strand von Bradford entfernt. Die Schlafzimmer sind klein, aber es gibt viele schöne Überraschungen in der Einheit, darunter eine große, frisch renovierte Dusche. du wirst nicht enttäuscht sein. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist ein Twin-Day-Bett mit einem Rollbett darunter. Das zweite Bett nimmt fast den gesamten Raum ein. Brady St. ist ein älteres Viertel, das Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts gegründet wurde. Heute ist es immer noch bekannt für seine Vielfalt mit einer einzigartigen Mischung aus Fachgeschäften, schicken Salons und einem pulsierenden Nachtleben. Jacks, einen Häuserblock weiter, fährt ein Shuttle zu den Brauer-Spielen oder zum Sommerfest. Uber und Lyft sind lokale Autoservices. Great Location
I’ve stayed here twice because it’s a terrific location to walk everywhere. I noticed the neighbors upstairs were a little louder this time around, but I know old houses echo. Just something to consider if you are planning to relax or read at the rental. Though I turned on the fan and it drowned out the sound well. :)

I enjoyed my stay and plan to stay again for an upcoming trip. The location is amazing for those who love walking access to great food and entertainment. I walked downtown and to Bradford Beach. Neighborhood is friendly. Clean apartment with easy access. I felt safe! Looking forward to my future visit.

Able to find parking easily. Location was great to see Milwaukee. Very clean. Didn’t give us the lock code until 1 hour after advertised check in which made us nervous, but after that the stay was great!

Dirty and Unclean - Would Not Recommend
We had booked this property for a 2 night stay from Saturday - Monday. We checked in on Saturday night at 10pm and noticed several issues. The unit had both an exterior and interior door that have locks, but when we arrived the exterior door was open & unlocked. The interior door was still locked but we felt uneasy. When we walked into the unit itself we found several issues. There were a significant amount of extension cords running next to the entrance door, one of which even ran through the door frame and back out of the unit. Next, we found large amounts of cobwebs throughout the unit - in the kitchen, in the bedroom next to the bed, in the bathroom, etc. It was quite gross. Going into the bathroom we found an uncovered electrical outlet directly above the sink, and the sink itself looked like it was falling off the wall. There were large openings in the wall near the bathroom door where some pipes traveled through the wall and outside. You could actually see through to outside. In the living room we found several live bugs on the walls and more electrical extension cords running below floor transition boards. In the bedroom we found a smashed, dead spider on the wall, more cobwebs, and somebody’s dirty laundry (looked like a sports bra) stuffed between the bed and the wall. We contacted the host to get a full refund but were only refunded one night. This unit was clearly not well kept or checked, if so it would not be so unsafe & unclean. We were very disappointed.

Steps from Brady
This was our first time visiting Milwaukee and this property/location made our trip absolutely perfect. You are one block from Brady Street and walking distance from Lakefront Brewery and SO much more. Wolski’s bar is right next door too! Overall the property was fine. However it for sure needed some updates. The door handles felt like they were going to fall off and the sink was kind of cracked off the wall. The beds were comfy (could use some updated sheets and comforters), there was no couch like the pictures, more of a futon. It’s just an older building so it has the older charm :) The host had everything you could need from shampoo and towels to a water filter and so much more! Parking wasn’t terrible, we were able to find something close most of the time. We would 100% book again for our next trip!

My husband & I wanted a relaxing stay for our V- Day weekend in Milwaukee. We enter, & the entryway is run down & the laundry room door is cracked open. We enter the code, walk in, & immediately I say to my husband, “I don’t think this is it. It looks nothing like the pictures.” The paint jobs on the wood vanity for the kitchen sink, cabinets & kitchen vanity were old & chunky. There were extension cables everywhere. The paint was chipping in the bathroom & numerous other places in the apartment. The blinds in the living room were torn, furniture was different & not at all as cute as in the pictures. The lamp shade was torn, wires on the floor. The master room was pretty much what we saw. The 2nd bedroom; however, gave us both an eerie feeling. There was a lot of black & red in the room- books called Angels and Demons (which I’m pretty sure is a classic so I get) & another book that I don’t want to misquote the title so that I seem like I’m really trying to sound crazy. There was a dirty ac unit in the closet, the floor under the bed was dirty. We noticed that the pics did not highlight the wear and tear of the unit at all intentionally, blurry photo. Long story short, we immediately left (after having some issues w/unlocking our door & locking the front door) and got a nearby hotel. It felt like we were staying in someone’s basement, not on a vacation. We did contact host and CS. No refund/help was given. I took video of the state of the place as well.

We had a great time in Milwaukee, the apartment was a great location for all the things we did, easy access to the interstate, shuttle bus service to the baseballgames. . The apartment is an older apartment, limited electric outlets. Towels were provided and super nice. Kitchen was well stocked with lots of options for cooking. The apartment was quiet, although the upstairs tenants were pretty active our last couple nights during the night walking around which was very disruptive to our sleep. The queen bed was very soft, but comfortable. The 2nd bedroom bed, a twin, was very creaky; everything you moved, it was noisy. Parking was good, pretty much right in front of the apartment. Overall, none of the negatives I mentioned impacted our stay. I would recommend this apartment; affordable, close to many attractions, and we felt very safe in the neighborhood.

The unit's bathroom was not cleaned when we arrived due to an oversight; however, the owner made it right by driving over shortly after our arrival and refunding us the cleaning fee. It was an overall great experience, and located close to bars and restaurants.

Great location but a few frustrations
Let me start by saying the location of the property was excellent and even at the busiest times we could always find parking within a couple of blocks. However there were several hiccups. First off I messaged the host the night before arrival since we hadn’t received check in instructions. She said they would be messages once the apartment was cleaned. We waited until 4pm, which was check in time, with no messages from the host. I sent a message at 4:30. I waited 10 minutes with no response so then had to call the host to have her send the code. Very frustrating after a day of traveling. Once we got checked in the space was as advertised. The beds were comfy and the space had everything we needed. The towels were plush and the coffee was abundant. We did encounter a couple of other problems. When we turned on the furnace the apartment smelled like gas. I’m not mechanically inclined enough to know if this is safe or normal so we left the furnace off even though our first night was 40 degrees outside. Upon arrival it was already very cold since the furnace wasn’t on at all before we got there. Overall the space was good, just needs some kinks worked out.

Girl Trip
My daughter and I see our favorite band, Dave Matthews, every year in a different state. In 2020, we chose Wisconsin. Unfortunately. . . covid!! But thankfully it was rescheduled for 2021. We knew nothing about Milwaukee but were pleasantly surprised. We loved the house. It was perfect for what we needed it for, just a place to sleep. The mattresses could use an upgrade but everything was neat and tidy and the house itself centrally located to all the things we needed. We would definitely visit again.
