Lage - das Haus liegt in der Nähe von Woodinville. Wir befinden uns direkt über der Kreuzung der drei Flüsse (Snohomish, Snoqualmie, Skykomish).
Rooftop Aerie bietet:
• Eine voll ausgestattete Küche - Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Mikrowelle, Backofen / Herd, reichlich Kochgeschirr, Geschirr für 8 Personen und eine Frühstücksecke. Zwischen Küche und Wohnzimmer befindet sich ein formelles Esszimmer.
• Wohnzimmer - Ledercouch, Stühle und eine spektakuläre Aussicht auf den Garten und das Tal. Der Propanofen sorgt an kühlen Abenden für etwas mehr Wärme.
• Heizsystem - Das Haus wird mit einem Erdwärmesystem, einem der umweltfreundlichsten Systeme, beheizt und gekühlt. Hinweis: Wie in den meisten Häusern im PNW gibt es keine Klimaanlage. Das Erdwärmesystem „kühlt“ das Haus, aber wir sind für die wenigen Tage, in denen es über 80 Grad heiß wird, immer noch auf ein paar Ventilatoren angewiesen.
• Grundstück - ein riesiger Rasen mit Rasenspielen, Stühlen auf der überdachten Veranda, im Garten und auf dem Dach. Die Gärten rund um das Haus gehören Blumen, die Kolibris und Schmetterlinge anziehen. Gerne können Sie Heidelbeeren, Himbeeren und Erdbeeren genießen.

Wonderful Stay at Rooftop Aerie
My family of 4 adults and 2 young children (ages 2 1/2 and 4), stayed at the Rooftop Aerie in late August, and had a wonderful experience! The property is absolutely lovely and Susan and John are attentive hosts, who go above and beyond what they need to, to make their guests feel welcome! The house is laid out in such a manner that our family had plenty of room to spread out, and we did not feel cramped at all. It is a beautiful house, inside and out! The property is absolutely lovely with flowers, and hummingbirds, and stunning views. The views on the roof, which you can sit on, are even more stunning. If there's an occasion in the future where my family needs to get together, Rooftop Aerie will be the place we want to stay!

This property was such a magical place. It was peaceful and serene and so much more. We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely the property was, and John and Susan were the best of hosts. A magical place with a view that is worth the price of admission, Sally the border colllie is a wonderful greeter and smiles as you arrive. The only issue i had is the property is shown as handicap accessible but the 2 steps entering the house and the sunken living room make it difficult for someone fully wheelchair bound...i will definitely stay again

All I can say is that EVERYTHING was PERFECT!! Susan and John were Very accommodating yet not intrusive, they provided us with such a peaceful and Very Comfortable home. The view from the house and rooftop are Amazing! The beds and bedding were so comfortable we didn't want to get up. The furniture was also really comfortable. The TV, DVD's and Xbox games kept us all thoroughly entertained. The kitchen is well stocked with everything imaginable and it was a pleasure to cook in. Best place, best location, best host dog ever
We stayed a week at the Rooftop Aerie, and we were glad every day to be there. The view, the beauty of the house and grounds, the friendliness of the dogs and the generosity of the hosts are only the highest points of a billion high points we had in a week. I actually cried the morning we left; I just didn't want to go. And kudos to Susan and John for being such good hosts in an area of super-high demand where hosts can be, shall we say, cranky. Susan and John are the opposite of cranky. They are wonderful.

Exceptional getaway stay!
This place was such an amazing first time stay in Washington! I could not have picked a better place. Susan and John were very sweet and attentive if we needed anything! We also could not get enough of Sparrow and her sweet smile. Overall, the Rooftop Aerie had such a nice view of the mountains and we enjoyed the peace and quiet in the area. The inside of the house is even more clean and well-organized. We really enjoyed and loved staying here. 10/10 would book again!

My son and I enjoyed the home very much! My brother lives nearby so it was very convenient to visit with him.He suffered a stroke a few years ago and has aphasia. He lives with my nephew, his son, and so my brother is alone for much of the time. I hope to visit with him again in the future and will definitely secure the use of Rooftop Aerie!

Had a wonderful time here. John and Susan were get hosts. I picked this place because it was close to my brothers new home. Which was super convenient. It was nice to have some place to have breakfast in the morning so we didn’t have to venture out super early. Conveniently located between Monroe and Snohomish. Wedding Week
We were in the area for our son's wedding and we needed a place where we could put our feet up and relax prior to the special event. The Rooftop Aerie was the perfect place for us and the weather could not have been better for us to relax outside with our daughter and our dear friends from Wisconsin who made the trip out for the wedding. John and Susan were terrific hosts, providing fresh eggs and fresh vegtables and berries from their garden. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, includiing the items in the pantry and refrigerator. We enjoyed using the grill and preparing many of our meals. Of course, we enjoyed the friendly welcome and playfulness that Sparrow, their border collie added to our stay! We did have problems with the dishwasher, but John was quick to check it out and order a new part. Hopefully it will be working properly when the next guests arrive. We definitely would like to return for another stay when we are back in the area to visit our son and daughter-in-law.

Comfortable and Peaceful Country Get-Away
My wife and I just spent 12 days at Rooftop Aarie, and if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place to relax, look no further. The house is spacious, well-appointed yet cozy, with a rooftop patio that provides a beautiful overlook of the Snohomish Valley. The interior appears fairly newly remodeled. Natural lighting shines through the many floor-to-ceiling windows providing lovely views of the surrounding grounds. The kitchen was more than we had hoped for being well-stocked with all the essentials and more. The owners, Susan and John, were very helpful, thoughtful and friendly without being intrusive. They encouraged us to pick vegetables from their garden, bringing us fresh eggs on occasion. And their happy, playful “host dog,” Sparrow, was a special delight for us. We lived in nearby Snohomish before we retired and staying at Susan and John’s house really added to the “Home Again” feel of our recent visit. The property is located out of the mainstream (a bonus for us!) but with east access to Monroe, Snohomish, Woodinville and other cities. We’ll be back again in the spring and summer!

Absolutely Lovely!
I’m not sure where to start, as this home had so many wonderful aspects. First, the hospitality of the hosts is amazing! They offered us fresh laid eggs, and gave us a little tour to see their animals and plants. We even had the opportunity to have fresh raspberries and lettuce! They were also very responsive and helpful! The beds and pillows were all very, very comfortable and we were able to get wonderfully rested. The home is the most well appointed home I’ve ever rented with VRBO, and we really appreciated this! We grabbed some groceries on our way to the home, but of course forgot a few items, though when we arrived there were food items available, and we really appreciated it, such as condiments, some popcorn, etc., etc. We left some items that we did not use. There’s a nice little library of books to choose from, which is nice to have. The rooftop deck is amazing. The views were beautiful and relaxing to look at. The home was very clean, which is very important to us. We definitely recommend this home and would gladly stay here again!

Perfect Family Getaway
We LOVEd this property! Our family came to the Seattle area for the first time, and would go into the city to see the sites. It was wonderful to come back to the quiet, peaceful surroundings of this property and decompress. We absolutely adored the resident dog Sparrow, and we really got a kick out of her coming to our kitchen door in the mornings, to see if we could come out and play! Watching the hummingbirds was so cool, and we were really appreciative of the fresh eggs brought to us from the owners, as well as snacks and water for our enjoyment. Thank you Rooftop Aerie!

Fabulous property and it even comes with a dog.
John and Susan are fabulous hosts and Rooftop Aerie is beautifully appointed. Their dog, Sparrow, is a wonderful side benefit. Sparrow is super sweet and very intelligent - she will let you scratch her head and then will chase balls for hours. The house has all the kitchen equipment you might need and is stocked with a lot of the basic spices and condiments. They supply wonderful soft, fluffy robes, loads of towels, and body soap, shampoo and conditioner. Susan brought us fresh eggs, which were fabulous and other things from her garden. Then we get to the view. Initially we thought we would go into Seattle most days but frankly once we spent some time on the rooftop sofa and on the super comfy outdoor furniture, we lost all desire to deal with the crowds at Pike Place Market. Instead, we explored the arorable towns of Monroe, Snohomish, and Woodinville. Then we spent a lot of time just enjoying the spectacular view of the mountains. Highly recommend.

Home away from home
Our stay was excellent. The owners were great including Sparrow, it was very restful and a good base camp for all of our explorations in Washington. It was very nice to be out in the country and close to shopping in Monroe. The view from the house was fabulous, a photographers dream. Day trips into Seattle to the market place, to museums and much more. Thank you John, Susan ans Sparrow.

Wonderful and tranquil
The home and property was beautiful. We felt very much at home. John and Susan were so accommdating. We have never been in a home that was so well supplied with kitchen equipement, personnel items, if needed . The humming birds and dog, sparrow, were a big hit with all of us. This home and property were very tranquil. We were able to have family there for pizza and movie one evening. John gave us a tour of their farm. It was good to know what they had accomplished since they bought the property. We would stay at this home without a doubt.

Perfect one week stay. Susan and John (and Sparrow) were very nice, welcoming and accommodating hosts. Beautiful views, peaceful, very comfortable, tastefully decorated and well stocked with snacks, drinking water, coffee and fresh eggs from Susan’s and John’s chickens. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at the rooftop aerie! It was exactly why we were looking for peace and quiet. The roof top views were spectacular as were the lawn views. It had an original VRBO feel with all its personal touches like the binder with the story of the house and property. We were greeted with fresh farm eggs from the owner which made us feel very welcome.

Monroe Mountain Getaway
From the moment we pulled up the driveway, to the moment we left: everything was wonderful. The view is stunning The house is STOCKED The owners are wonderful and Sparrow is an angel to have around. If you have any form of travel anxiety, seeing Sparrow, the beautiful views of the cascades, and the cozy home will wash all of that away. If I had a question, Susan & John were on it immediately. I’ve never had a stay so well prepared with items, amenities, and even snacks!! I wished the stay would have never ended, it felt like home. Do not miss out on the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful location! Short drive to all things necessary (about 13 minutes to Monroe) and only about 40 minutes from Downtown Seattle. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!
