Pleasant home, which features two master suites, an open floor plan layout between the spacious living room and chef's kitchen, two expansive decks with outdoor furniture and a large Lowcountry backyard with palmetto trees and live oak trees draped with Spanish moss. Sugar Magnolia is a short drive away from golf courses, hiking trails, Shipyard Park, Francis Marion National Forest, plantation homes, local beaches, downtown Charleston and Bulls Island.

Guests enter Sugar Magnolia by walking up the exterior staircase to the front door on the home's elevated front porch. Once you enter the front door, you will find a foyer, the living room and the stairwell to the home's second floor. The open floor plan layout connects the living room to the sunny kitchen & dining area. There is a small seating area and office near one side of the kitchen and a half bathroom located near the foyer. The home's two master bedroom suites are located on the ground floor of the home on the other side of the living room. A back porch, which is accessible from the dining area and one of the master bedroom suites, extends the full length of the back side of the home and the front porch extends the full length of the front side of the home. On the second floor of the home, you will find two guest bedrooms that share one Jack & Jill bathroom.

Great interim stop during cross country move
We recently stayed at Sugar Magnolia for several nights in between our move from Colorado to Mount Pleasant. We had my mother in law with us for one night and our two children ages 3 and 7 mos. The home worked perfectly for our stay given the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as the two-zone HVAC. The primary suite was lovely and the beds were all extremely comfortable! We didn’t spend significant time on the property because we were busy with move-in details, but I think it would suite a family or group extremely well. We did have to bring our own pack n play, but knew that in advance. The only other thing (which is also noted in the information ahead of time) is that you have to supply your own paper goods aside from the “starter amount” they give you. This meant no paper towels on hand and two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. If you’re planning a longer stay it would be something you’d probably want to get ahead of time. Overall I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a northeast MP location, lots of space, updated kitchen and baths, very clean, and comfortable home. It really made our “in between” time very comfortable!

Family Getaway
Sugar Magnolia provided a spacious home base for our two families with four children, aged 10 months to 5 years, while visiting the Charleston area. We were within 15-40 minutes of most of the attractions our families wanted to visit. The home itself was comfortable and offered the space and most necessities for our families, though the grill, cookware, some furniture and one of the bathrooms are starting to age.

This property was a good location for all of the events we had planned for the long holiday weekend. Very nice home with all the accommodations we needed. My only complaint is that we never were able to get the upstairs bathroom shower to access hot water. We let the shower run for 15 mins each day with only hot water turned on and it never got warm. Otherwise, a great stay.

Overall the property was comfortable and spacious. The only issues we had was the lack of cookware and what was provided was in very poor condition. The outdoor furniture was dirty so it would be best to let the persons staying at the home put it out when they use it. There also could be more seating provided in the main living area as well as the main floor bedrooms. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this location.

This property is beautiful inside and out, the listing pictures don’t do it justice! Super spacious house and rooms, had everything we needed, and everything was clean. We were 10 ladies for a bachelorette trip, and it was perfect! we had 3 girls sleep in a king, 2 girls in the other 3 beds, and 1 girl on the pull out couch. It was still spacious for the 10 of us! I couldn’t be happier choosing this place. Going to downtown charleston was about 25-30 minute drive, but definitely worth the drive for this house and the price. Checking in and out was extremely easy, and heard from the property manager the perfect amount for updates and rules. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend this place :)
