Our spacious 1,900 sq. ft. retreat offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, whether you're visiting for a family event, a work trip, or a leisurely getaway.
The Cozy Blue Getaway is more than just a rental; it’s a thoughtfully curated retreat designed to offer the comforts and conveniences that I seek when I return to my roots. From the fully stocked kitchen to the carefully chosen board games and cozy reading nooks, every detail has been included with the intention of making you feel right at home.

This isn’t a bare-bones, basic short-term rental. If I ever find myself needing something during my visits, rest assured that it will be added for the benefit of my next guest. I hope you experience the same warmth and comfort that make this house a cherished home for me.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms: This inviting house features three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom with an en-suite is conveniently located downstairs. On the main level, you'll find a kid-friendly bedroom with bunk beds and a cozy reading/games corner, along with a second full bathroom. Upstairs, a third bedroom and half bath provide additional space, along with an open living area where kids can play or an extra queen-sized air mattress can be added for extra guests.

Living Room: Relax in the spacious living room, complete with an attached office space overlooking the front yard. Enjoy movie nights or gaming sessions with the 65” smart TV, sound bar, and Xbox station. The large coffee table is ideal for family game nights, and the house is stocked with board games, decks of cards, puzzles, and books for your entertainment.

Kitchen: Our fully renovated kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, elegant waterfall quartz countertops, and all the tools you need for your culinary adventures. A cozy breakfast nook with seating for four and additional seating at the kitchen island ensures plenty of space for meals and conversations.

Outdoors: Step outside to enjoy our ¾ fenced backyard, a safe space where kids can play freely. The back deck features outdoor dining for six and a propane firepit with seating for six—perfect for relaxing evenings. You might even spot a family of deer wandering through the yard! We provide weekly yard maintenance year-round to keep the space pristine.

Family friendly neighborhood. There is a park that has water features during the summer, 3 blocks down the street for family friendly fun. Local hospital is 6 blocks away. Downtown attractions for entertainment, dinning, and shopping are a 5 mins car drive or 15-20 walk down the hill. Downtown Mount Vernon is buzzing with restaurants, breweries and distilleries, local shops and a beautiful boardwalk along the river.
