Die Eigentümer haben alles zur Verfügung gestellt, was Sie für einen stressfreien Urlaub benötigen. Neu installierte Zentralheizung und Luft. Parkplatz für 5 Fahrzeuge. HAUSTIERFREUNDLICH. Eine sehr kurze Entfernung zum Weingut Linville Falls, den Linville Caverns, den Linville Falls, dem Blue Ridge Parkway und dem Grandfather Mountain. Das Haus liegt direkt an der Autobahn, so dass Sie im Winter einfachen Zugang zu den Skipisten haben.

Roomy 4-bedroom home
We spent the week at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, which was a short drive away. The house has a nice, open floorplan for the common areas with plenty of room to sit, relax, and enjoy one another's company. The bedrooms were adequate, each with space enough to get ready for the day, and be comfortable. There were mirrors in each room, and all but one room have spacious walk-in closets. The master bedroom and bath was very spacious and accomodated the needs of our group quite well. The only issue we had was the result of nature getting into or under the house, which the owners cannot really be blamed for. The owners were responsive when we had any questions or notified them about anything going on with the house, and were super easy to contact. This was the perfect place to set up as a "home base" while we were visiting.

Great place to stay
I was in North Carolina for a funeral service and stayed at this location with my family. Let me tell you this was a fantastic place to stay, Big parking lot, lots of room in the house. We sat on front porch and had coffee in the morning . That evening after the services we grilled steaks on back porch that we bough from the farm raised meat market a 1/4 from the house. Being a family from Texas and never been to North Carolina the drive was amazing and fun, I wish I could buy this house, "Dottie's place" was a peaceful, wonderful place to stay. Country, Cows and Christmas Trees!
We had a wonderful stay at Dottie’s place. Host thought of everything. Big rooms, comfy beds and lots of comfortable seating. Family all felt at home. Skiing not to far away was great. It actually snowed the day we went skiing, which made the trip even better. Loved the cows across the street and the Christmas trees all around us. Would definitely stay again. Wonderful value for the money.

Super cute
Our stay included myself, my husband and our 2 boys 14,16. The first thing that comes to mind is much cuter in person. Very clean, cozy and had everything you need plus extra.. ( provided laundry detergent, body wash, down to hot coco.) One suggestion I have, if you're a light sleeper, it is right off of a busy highway and you can hear the traffic. Location is close enough to get to most adventures. I would recommend staying here.

Spatious and comfortable
Master bedroom and bathroom were huge . Kitchen great for cooking . The couches in the living room included 6 reclining seats , so it was very comfortable for us all to relax in the evenings . About a 20 min drive to Grandather trailhead, which we found out you need “tickets“ for , or you can take the longer “Profile trail” to access same area. Only 8 mins from Linville falls. The house is very close to the highway, so bring your white noise maker . Overall it was well worth the money. Really well kept place.

This is our second stay at Dotties’ place. It is always clean and comfortable. It’s nice for us to have one level with ample parking. The beds and bedding are very comfortable as well as ample amenities provided.

Great Place!
Very nice place to stay. Would recommend to anyone. Super comfy and the kitchen has all that you need if you choose to cook your own meals. The owners are close by and even messaged us to caution us about the roads after it had snowed. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!!

Great Ski Vacation
The place was very roomy and comfortable. Location was between beautiful Christmas tree farms and rolling cow pastures. Driving to the ski slopes was easy since the house is located on a main road. We highly recommend this rental.

Everything you need and more
Our stay was well stocked more then any cabin we have stayed at and the beautiful back yard with all the Christmas trees beds were comfortable and couches in the living room provided plenty of space for family night, my only wishes was maybe a smart tv so we can log in our Netflix for the kids and a larger frying pan we were a group of 6 otherwise perfect

The pictures don't do this property justice. :) The den is huge! The bedrooms are a good size too. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and anything else we needed. Everything was very clean and they provided more amenities than any other property we've stayed it. It's the little things that count! The front of the home is close to the road. But it didn't bother us at all. Our son's fur baby loved it as well! I would highly recommend! It was a 20-25 minute drive to Sugar Mtn. The is a Food Lion about 15 mins away. A Dollar General is less than 10 mins. Great communication with owner as well as booking agent. Would definitely book here again!

Home away from Home
Our family LOVED it here. Very spacious living room, dining room and kitchen was amazing! We brought all kinds of soups and groceries from home and did lots of cooking together—balanced with an amazing meal at Twigg’s in Blowing Rock. We brought and played lots of cards, games and planned hikes. This house is only about 3 miles from Linville Winery and under 10 miles to Linville Falls—we participated in both! Can’t wait to go back!

We loved this mountain home.
We enjoyed our stay at Dotties Place. We are six friends celebrating our 50th reunion at our college. The house had everything anyone would need throughout the house. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is ample parking which is not often available at mountain homes. It is a little far away from places we wanted to visit but we were unanimous in deciding to come back next year since loved the house so much!

Plenty of space in the perfect location!
This house delivered more than I expected! The kitchen was well stocked, extra linens in each room, soaps, laundry detergent, even to-go cups for the coffee bar. This house was much bigger than I anticipated it being. There was plenty of room for our girls trip. The house was in the perfect location, not far from anywhere we wanted to be. The only noise from the road we heard was either from really big trucks or the night it poured rain we heard a few passing cars. We couldn’t have been more pleased!
