„It was a surprise for my husband's birthday that I rented this house in the area where he grew up in the 60's. Though his old house is long gone - this took him back to his childhood days and as it turns out - he once knew the people who lived in the cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and just what I was expecting. Communication and check-in/access was easy. Will definetly consider it for a visit in the fall.“

„Enjoyed our stay! Close to the beach for our dogs to enjoy with us! Stayed cool with the a/c units to our surprise. Unfortunately the a/c unit slides were not secure which allowed flies entry. Wooden blinds would be a better option with a/c units instead of curtains for privacy at night but daylight during the day. Overall expectations were met. Video game was enjoyed by all. Would definitely recommend for a quick getaway!“

„Had an overall nice stay. Very clean. Great location was able to take a walk on the beach and that was definitely needed. Was in town due to family emergency and booked quickly. In the pictures there are 3 beds in room but there were only 2 when we got there a full size and twin. So my daughters were mad they had to sleep together but they got over it. Living room was cold and bedroom got hot.We also booked for 5 people but there were only 3 towels and 3 wash cloths. But made the best of it and ...

„The kitchen was ok…when we walked in the living room the outlet was pushed into the wall…the walls seems liked they were patched up but never painted…the floors have soft spots and uneven in almost every room…garbage behind the radiators that has been there for years….the master bed was shimmed with cut pieces of 2x4’s…huge crack in the corner wall leading to the bathroom…the bathroom sink is just above knee high. The shower …if you’re over 5’2” you will be crouching or squatting if you’re 6’2” ...

„First off…our family did have a great time at this property. The location is perfect and being on the water with the huge dock was awesome! We also the loved upper and lower waterfront decks. The hosts were so nice and so responsive. There was an issue as soon as we arrived that he came to the house and we were able to discuss. Having said that, the inside is in need of repair. „As the listing describes, this is an older house that has some updating needed. It was decently clean (there was a lot of stained carpets and such, but we were expecting that from the listing description). It didn't smell and we didn't see any bugs. The beds were comfy, the location was nearby everything we were visiting and it was on the beach. There were a few issues we had when we got there and they were resolved quickly.
