Hillside Hideaway is a unique family home nestled into the hill in the heart of Orford. It offers expansive views over Maria Island, Prosser River and East Shelly Beach. The whole family is welcome with four bedrooms, two living areas and a games room. A large wood fire as well as two heat pumps will keep you cosy throughout the Tassie year.

Within walking distance to the local supermarket, pub, walking tracks & beaches. A short drive to the ferry terminal for Maria Island National Park.

The Space:
Enjoy a coastal getaway at this private property, positioned on the hill with incredible views over the Prosser Bay and across to Maria Island.

The house itself is in perfect original condition, enjoying a cosy vibe with split levels and exposed timber beams featured in the raked ceilings. Enjoy the open plan dining, living, and kitchen with a wood fire looking out over Maria Island. Our kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove top, microwave and basic cooking essentials.

The master suite is divided over two levels with a separate living area facing Maria Island with the king bed upstairs with a private ensuite.

The main living area leads upstairs into the three remaining bedrooms, laundry, and bathroom.

Ample onsite parking in addition to an outdoor entertaining are which features a fantastic open fireplace and BBQ facilities for the group to enjoy.

Enjoy free WiFi and access to a high chair and portacot for the little ones.

Orford is the gateway to Tasmania's fantastic East Coast and yet only an hour from Hobart. Enjoy easy access to a number of pristine beaches as well as the essentials such as a local supermarket and wood fired pizza or the Gateway Tavern. Base yourself here and venture up the coast for lunch at Devil's Corner vineyard. A fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy a coastal vacation.
