There were a number of issues with this unit.
Firstly, We arrived on Feb. 5, then did our shopping (Costco and Trader Joe's) on Feb. 6. On Feb. 7 I was looking for a toaster and when I opened the cupboard door it collapsed. I advised the owner immediately and she encouraged to me fix the cupboard door myself. I was unable to fix the hinge but I advised the owner if she wanted to have someone look at the cupboard door please just let me know the day and time. There was no response from the owner. The owner is blaming us for the issues with the cupboard door but this is not our fault it is her responsibility and a sensible and caring owner would be apologizing to us for the poorly constructed kitchen cabinets not blaming the guests.
There was a lack of hot water, it took an unreasonable amount of time to receive hot water. The faucets were also reversed, hot water to the left in the kitchen and then to the right in the shower. This is very dangerous (if not illegal) and someone could be injured (burned) by this. This obviously needs a plumber's attention.
The dishwasher did not dry properly. Whenever we used the dishwasher I had to dry the dishes by hand..
Cleanliness. We were staying for 17 days and I asked the owner if a "soft clean" was available during our stay. The owner said no. We own a time share in Hawaii where we stay for one month at a time. At that resort, we receive two "soft cleans" per week. Over 17 days, that would amount to 5 "soft cleans". Out of space.
