The Space:
Welcome to Sea Glass! This gorgeous, ocean front home has breath taking views and offers lots of outside gathering space! Sea Glass is a split level house with an expansive deck. The main living area is on the 2nd level of the house. The amazing views can be seen in the open living room and dining areas. The kitchen has deck access to the beach and a small deck to the west. A perfect spot to enjoy a cup of joe! The living room is spacious and roomy with a extra large flat screen TV. The dining area has seating for 8 at the table and 8 more spots at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need! It has both, Keurig and drip coffee makers, a separate ice maker, and plenty of cookware for making large meals. A small bedroom, with a queen size bed, is located off the main level, along with a half bath.

The third level houses a loft with a small desk area, and the Primary Suite. Imagine waking up with views of spectacular sunrises and sounds of the waves! The bedroom has a large king bed. The spacious bathroom has a large soaking tub, double vanity, separate shower, enclosed toilet room, and a large walk in closet.

Two other bedrooms are on the entry level and are separated by full bathroom and has access to the outside decks. The ocean side bedroom has a queen bed and a sliding door to the large deck. The front room is perfect for children or teenagers. It has two twin over twin bunk beds and a television cabinet.

The lower level is where you will find a garage and laundry room. There is parking for 1 car in the garage and enough space in the driveway for 3-4 additional cars.

The views are just absolutely stunning. Imagine waking up to sunrises and watching the day go by on the back deck. Grab your chair, a book, and head to the beach or just sit and watch the ebb and flow of the tide. The big windows and doors allow for natural sunlight to brighten the house throughout the day. Grab a glass of wine to end the day on the little deck off the kitchen to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Experience the beauty of sandy shores where you can swim, sunbathe, surf, paddleboard, and fish. Take leisurely walks along the beach to discover treasures like shark teeth, sand dollars, and sea glass.

Explore Anastasia State Park for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, birdwatching, and picnicking in a stunning coastal setting.

Please note, that all guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and provide a valid form of ID. The primary reservation holder must provide a Government-Issued ID that matches the name on the rental agreement. This is a requirement from St. Johns County. All guest's names (first and last) must be provided. The ages of any minors are required to be listed. This is for emergency and insurance purposes.

If the house happens to be ready earlier than our standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, we, in most cases will allow an early check-in. For a reliable alternative with guaranteed check-in or check-out timing, it's recommended to book the night before or after your scheduled arrival or departure.

Getting Around:
Immerse yourself in the blend of adventure and activity by renting a bicycle. Lose yourself in enchanting streets, uncover hidden treasures, and enjoy the ocean breeze. Take in a leisurely pace with beachfront strolls, explore shops, and savor local cuisine on foot.

Enhance your experience with a sunset cruise, offering breathtaking views and the chance to spot playful dolphins. For the adventurous, rent kayaks, paddleboards, and other watercraft to explore our beautiful estuaries and waterways.

Please note that beach driving is not permitted. Beach access points can be found on Coastal Hwy at even-numbered properties and on the 3000 block on S. Ponte Vedra, specifically odd-numbered properties.

Other Things to Note:
Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non-compliance could result in sizable fines.
- All guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Please inquire for more information.
- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.
- To ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features, ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival and notify Portoro with any questions.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check-in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Pets are not allowed at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without Portoro’s approval, there will be a cleaning charge of $500.
- We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one-hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check-in or late check-out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- The home has cameras for external monitoring only.
- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both St. Johns County and the State of Florida require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6.5% and the county requires 5%.
- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental). Contact Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over six months are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.

Wonderful beach stay with friends and family
We spent a week at Sea Glass as a dual family vacation and it met all our needs. The two downstairs oceanside master and bunk room both close off from the rest of the house which is nice to still have some level of privacy when sharing a home with another family. The location is perfect. You can't beat the quietness of this beach. The closest public beach access is nearly a 1/4 mile away which leaves the beach very secluded and quiet. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys available for use. We took advantage of the membership to the Serenata Beach Club and would highly recommend it if you have small children and need a break from the beach and want to take a swim. Our girls loved it. Sea Glass is a true gem on South Ponte Vedra beach. Wren Beach Rentals made the process for renting exceptionally easy and were very responsive.

Our family spent the week at Sea Glass. Hose was exactly as advertised. There was also some surprise extras such as beach umbrellas, beach toys and boogie boards. There was also a bunch of games for the kids to play with. The deck was awesome with room to get out of the sun if you needed to. We were also lucky enough to have a couple of turtles come on the beach at night and lay their eggs right in front of the house.

We've been coming to South Ponte Vedra Beach for over 40 years and seen the dramatic improvements in the quality of beach houses, from the old beach houses in the 70's and before that shook in the wind to the spacious and solid houses with their expansive views from multiple room. This beautiful house is located perfectly between Jacksonville and St. Augustine with the clean, uncrowded beaches we've come to love. There is plenty of space for our multiple generations of family. A gem. The owners were responsive to every request.
