2 Schlafzimmer, 3/4 Bad, WiFi, Kabel-TV, Klimaanlage / Heizung, Kaffeestation / Küchenzeile, kleine halbe Größe Kühlschrank (Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Toaster und Geschirr) außerhalb private Terrasse mit Tisch für 4 Personen und mit BBQ Grill & Seitenbrenner. Gelegen auf 3 Hektar und Rücken zum Park Land. 3 Minuten zu Fuß zum Kootenay Arm mit langem Sandstrand.

Wir befinden uns in einem magischen Teil des Kootenays. Mit leichtem Zugang zu Wandern, Mountainbiken, Bootfahren, Wassersport, heiße Quellen, lokale Bäckereien, Cafés, Sonntagsmarkt und Regionalparks.

Es gibt eine Fülle von wildem Leben. Wir sehen Whitetail Deer täglich. Es gibt Vögel aller Art; Adler, blaue Reiher, Enten, Gänse, Truthähne und saisonal blaue Vögel. Auf den umliegenden Bergen können Sie Glück haben, Elche oder Schwarzbären zu sehen. Nachts kann man gelegentlich Kojoten hören.

Der Zug fährt immer noch zweimal täglich an unserem Platz vorbei. Der Sommerflugplan ist normalerweise gegen Mittag und einmal am Abend.

Hundefreundlich zu freundlichen Hunden. Haustiere müssen hausgemacht sein (Töpfchen trainiert) und sozialisiert werden, um mit Menschen und anderen Hunden zusammen zu sein.

Wir empfehlen Ihnen, Lebensmittel für Ihren Aufenthalt abzuholen, bevor Sie sich aus dem Staub machen. Wir sind 24 km von Nelson entfernt.

A great family & dog friendly place!
This property was perfect for our family vacation to the area. Polly and Tony were kind, welcoming and helpful. The cabin had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The deck was a perfect space for us to eat meals and play card games in the evening. The beach was a short, easy walk along a mowed path and was very private - we only encountered other people there one time in four days. The cabin, yard and beach were very dog-friendly and our golden retriever had the time of his life. The Procter Village Cafe, just a short drive away was also a highlight for their cinnamon buns and Friday night pizza! We would absolutely stay at this property again. Thank-you for your hospitality Polly & Tony (and Nia)!

Paradise on the lake
We had a great time at this property. Huge acreage with meticulously maintained golf field quality grass ,access to the private beach ,comfortable beds,plenty of towels and nice sized bathroom and bedrooms. Our dog had a blast running unleashed and chasing Frizbee .With everything so great and good kitchen lacked some space and bigger fridge.Thank you Tony and Polly for your hospitality

Relaxing stay surrounded by beautiful scenery
We had an awesome time here! The hosts Tony and Polly, were very kind and accommodating for us during our entire stay. Our cabin was cleanly maintained and well stocked. The space is tranquil and the beds are some of the most comfortable that we ever had! Their labrador is a wonderful girl whose company was always welcome. It was a pleasure to watch deer walking through the field. Nelson is a little ways away but well worth the travel (tons of beautiful scenery). We look forward to a return trip!

Amazing Stay
During this time of Covid, we explored our home province and visited the Kootneys, which we have never seen. The house was very clean, and we felt very comfortable there. It was extremely hot during our visit, 37C (99F) and the air conditioning and fans worked wonderfully to keep it cool. The fridge is small, but we made it work and the only thing I missed in the kitchen was a teapot! Polly and Tony were fabulous hosts, as well as their beautiful dog Niya. There was lots to see in the area and we especially enjoyed ziplining at Kokanee Mountain Zipline.

Amazing stay, hospitality & views!
From previsit to check out we had a terrific experience at the Rabbit Hutch and Polly and Tony made our vacation truly memorable. We were blown away by the cottage and all of the space outside. From weather, to wildlife, to location, to all the little extras - perfect!
Great stay with a well appointed, nicely set up suite and property. Our experience matched the description and all other reviewers. Not only was it as advertised, but the provision of little extras for the people and for the dog were much appreciated. Note: others mentioned the limited kitchen area, which is true, but we had no problem by making use of the barbecue and patio. All good! Great hosts + a beautiful spot made for a terrific week!

Very relaxing time at the property and surrounding area. Our dog enjoyed playing on the beach and trying to catch the deer that would wander on and off property. Great location to base exploring other areas of the Kootenays. Polly and Tony are great hosts and very welcoming. Nya the Lab who calls this property home was a great playmate for our dog as well. We only stayed 4 nights and will in all likelihood stay here again.

Piece of Paradise
Polly, Tony and Nia were such wonderful warm and welcoming hosts and we had an excellent time at the property. The suite was spotless when we arrived and all instructions were very clear. The pets had a blast visiting with Nia and wandering the immaculately kept 3 acre property. The short walk to the beach access was perfect for the pets to cool off and swim and the conservation area you pass through on the way to the beach was full of interesting wildlife. I had injured my back prior to arriving and Polly went above and beyond to help me be as comfortable as possible. The only lack we might have felt would be no stove top, but we brought along our portable induction cooker and a pot so all was well. The train does go by a couple of times a day but we hardly heard it with indoor fans running - in fact, when we got back to Calgary the first night we lamented the lack of peace and quiet as the area the property is in was so very quiet and tranquil. From the deer coming over to visit at sunrise (especially momma and spotted fawn) to spending time visiting with Polly and Tony on their patio, it was more like staying with good friends and we would love to come back any time without hesitation. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!
Hosts, Polly and Tony were amazing. They were extremely hospitable and made you feel like you've known each other for years. Living quarters were very clean and the area was quiet and peaceful. My dog doesn't usually get along super well with other dogs but found a girlfriend with their dog Nia. Overall, are stay couldn't have been more pleasurable
