My husband and I spent five unforgettable days of our honeymoon at Podere Terreno. Cristina, the host, was wonderful—kind, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. She made us feel like part of the family, setting a warm tone for our stay.
The traditional Tuscan dinners served every few nights were home-cooked, authentic, and delicious. Breakfasts were consistent, offering both sweet and savoury options, and they happily accommodated dietary restrictions.
Activities, both on-site and nearby, were plentiful. We loved horseback riding, just a 30-minute drive away, and Cristina's private cooking class was a highlight. We prepared traditional dishes in their professional kitchen, later served for dinner, adding a special touch to the experience. The wine tasting was both informative and enjoyable, deepening our appreciation for the farm's history and the wines we sampled.
A delightful surprise was meeting other guests from around the world, who were friendly and eager to help us practice our Italian. We enjoyed relaxing around the property, sipping wine, or playing fetch with their charming dog, Dex.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and offered stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. Everything worked perfectly, and the shower was especially nice after long days of activities.
By the end of our stay, we felt like part of a new family. Our only regret was not staying longer. Podere Terreno and Cristina made our honeymoon truly special, and we can't wait to return one day.
