„Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. “

„This property is great for peace and quiet. The damage in the area from hurricane Helene has shut down a lot of trails, waterfalls, and parks. However, it is still very beautiful and we will continue to travel to the area and hopefully stay at this retreat again. Right now it's smart to bring your own food, there aren't very many places to go out to eat unless you prefer fast food. The main highway also has a beautiful gift shop. „We have a large group that comes to Asheville every year to check out the brewery scene. The Wayward Moose Inn was perfect for us. The property was plenty big enough for the whole group and having the ability to schedule a shuttle ride to downtown was an added bonus. We’ll definitely be looking to stay here when we come back.“

„I'll start with the pros. The lodge is very open with lots of areas to spread everyone out. The game room downstairs was nice and the open floor plan on the main floor was perfect for our needs. „Lake lure took a big hit to the storm. But this cabin had all we needed to keep us occupied during our stay. Restaurants and some shops are open. Loved how everyone is so open to helping each other. House was so lovely, owner was very accommodating. Anytime I had a question. I texted him personally. He responded very quickly. I highly recommend this house. We will come back.“
