While we didn't do much other than sleeping at the property, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It's like going to your grandparent's house. Rustic decor throughout. Has all the amenities you need for a peaceful getaway. Even though the back patio was cluttered, it was still nice to grill dinner one night and hang out. The shower was temperamental but once we figured it out, it wasn't that bad. Lift up the handle to turn on, and then move the handle side to side for cold/hot. Do not turn the handle. There is an air conditioner in each bedroom. If you turn both on and put the fan in the hallway, it will cool the house fairly well, except the kitchen. If driving here, bring your own pillows. We flew in so that wasn't an option. Didn't take away from the experience though. Fridge/freezer works great. Dishwasher was okay. We lightly hand washed the dishes before running them through the dishwasher after the first use. Coffee pot, microwave, stove, and toaster work fine. Drinkware, cookware, dishes, and utensils all present. We would certainly rent the house again if we get back to this area. Two hours to the Tetons, and two hours (or less) to West Yellowstone. Just outside of Ririe is a rest area on US 26 heading east towards Swan Valley with spectacular views of the Snake River. Broulims is a great local grocery store for all your needs. Recommend checking out the Rustic Root and Pandora's Chocolate in town and Yellowstone Bear World near Rexburg if you have kids. Enjoy your stay.
